Still waiting on a slight Demon and possibly Mech buff
Demons need it more I feel. The issue is that you have to commit to big demons very early (tavern 1) or need very strict pieces on tavern 3 to have a juggler build. They should probably make Weaver tavern 3 with a 4/4 base-line or something and introduce new pieces.
Mech just need a better mid to end-game transition. I feel a self-scaling mech at Tavern 5 would go a long way. Just remove Junkbot... it's junk alright.
Really? I feel like I'm seeing a lot of games with juggler builds dominating. Now canon is gone jugglers seem to = easy top 4. Mechs do feel weak to me right now though.
Overall I'd say it seems pretty well balanced right now, certainly better than it was. Beasts are perhaps slighty overtuned but they were really weak before so not sure its a problem...for now.
It'd be cool if kids that randomly post "salt thread, salt thread!" on discussion posts got banned.

Played about 5 games last night - mostly felt similar to lobbies in the last meta where murlocs weren't available. Beasts are better I suppose. Although I didn't play enough to have a good idea exactly how much better they were.
Lich King went from being a mid/late game Hero to an all around good hero, which is interesting. He feels kind of like a KT or Yogg type hero.
Reno seems really really good after the buff. The hero power is usually used at moments in the game where every coin is important.
Yeah, this is the truth. Galakrond is good too, but Reno is high powered. I upgraded to tier 4, tripled, discovered a Mama bear and made her gold in one turn. Pretty smooth sailing to 1st place after that. That turn I faced Edwin who was in third place, I was in fifth, I did 23 damage...
Beasts are now by far the strongest tribe in the mid-game I think thanks to the possibility of an early Mama Bear. However they suffer from the same deficiencies they always did: No Divine Shield (unlike Dragons and Mechs) and no infinite scaling (unlike Dragons and Pirates). So if you don't win fast enough you will probably end up 2nd-3rd..
The problem with demons is still Floating Watcher imo.... it ONLY works if you already committed to demons from the start of the game (picking up Wrath Weaver at taver tier 1)
Iam in favor of getting rid of Watcher altogether (its usage is too narrow) and perhaps replacing it with Disguised Wanderer or Wrathspike Brute
Brute would be interesting. Watcher is definitely trash. The one demon I hate is the thicc boi that gain hp = all youre missing. The trade value is insane.
Would not make sense at all to add something like Scalelord instead of Megasaur and it's good they didn't.
Amalgadon does come late, but other then that card, Murlocs don't really have much at tier 6 now.
Adding a card like Scalelord or Holy Mackerel would not make sense at this point however, even at 6.
I'd love to see someone with a battlecry that was essentially Soul of the Murloc. Divine Shield should remain gone, but give us back the plants. Plants lowkey win games.
Kinda weak for a 6, tho... and buffing-and-moving King to 6 would probably be bad overall...
I foresee Nadina becoming the next target for a nerf or being removed all together
Nadina could easily go from "give your dragons Divine Shield" to "give (3? 2?) dragons Divine Shield." I like 3, since that'd be clearly better than a gold Selfless Hero. Missing out on up to 3 shields is a decent nerf, and it'd give an incentive to try to triple her.
I'd love to see Shattered Sun Cleric at tavern 2. You could buff some neutral minions to keep them relevant for more turns to put a them outside of Zapp target range or just use it as another buff that is 50% worse than a dedicated tribe buff.
I'm so happy Megasaur is finally gone. I can actually play the damn mode now and not instant concede everytime murlocs are available. I miss Arcane Cannon though. That minion was super fun.

I'd kind of prefer not, but Gorillabot A-3 would be sweet. Follow the same "can only discover from your tavern or lower" as the Murloc now has, and it'd be a nice buff to mech consistency.

With the removal of the cannon, the games seem to go on for a few more turns than before

I played 5 times today, hit 1st twice, one was George (divine) , one was murloc.

Pirates seem sleeper top tier imo. Rarely contested, easy top 4 guaranteed if not second or first.
