I am becoming extremely frustrated with all of the face hunter and zoo decks I am facing (5 of my last 6 games were against these two types. *Edit Mech mage as well), and I am in search of a deck that is a hard counter. I am around rank 10-11 right now and there is no end in sight for this aggro flood. Suggestions?
Control warrior and druid are, of course, the standard choices.
Priest, tooled for anti-aggro does very well.
For the most part, look for a deck that has 2 Chows in it and you pretty much found one. Not that chow is ALL you need but the decks that have them tend to be tooled for anti-aggro.
I've tried Control Warrior but it still seems to slow. Not sure what to sub in vs. the meta right now.
Odd. Have you been focusing on building up armor like a madman? Control warriors are hard to take down for aggro because they get so much armor that the aggro deck simply runs dry.
Myself I found ramp druid doing very well. I don't use heavy anti-aggro tools like pyro, but along with Innervate/Wild growth I also carry shade and Grove tender (as both a 2/4 body and because getting to high mana, even if it's both of us, is best for me) and 2 healbots. If I was thinking REALLY anti-aggro I'd put in Chows as well. THe focus is to make the aggro deck use their big damagers on the taunts then let the big boys after my ramp up hold the board while heal bot ruins that last push for damage.
Taunt Druid got me through to rank 6. At which point it seems to hit a wall (Pun intended). But in all seriousness, it isn't as good as combo druid at higher ranks.
Three things can come down to ''countering'' the aggro decks you are probably facing.
1 ) Teching your deck against aggro. This will be a standard decision, trying to add Zombie Chow, maybe more AoE or some healing to recover from a rough early game. Nothing more to be said.
2 ) A specific deck to counter a very fast meta. Priest anti-aggro, Ramp Druid (Tauntadruid), Control Paladin, Control Warrior with enough early game and so on. Those kind of decks shine in a fast meta since they are designed to counter that specific meta and thus, take a good amount of win from the aggro lovers out there.
3 ) Playing an aggro deck. If you failed to win against aggro, you might as well try the FOTM deck to understand the basis of this one and maybe, fall in love with it or learn what to expect and what to mulligan for.
Basically, you can tech your own deck, play a specific counter deck or play the deck that's bothering you the more to learn it. Three different solutions that are good. Pick the right one or try them each one.

Control Warrior is only good against decks that go for face and don't really focus on the board (Face Hunter). Against a deck like Zoo, even though you're gaining armor, you're still facing down threat after threat, and this can be hard to maintain due to warrior's limited removal. You can gain all the armor you want, but you still got stuff to kill at the end of the day.
Unstable Ghoul is pretty slick at times. (fun with a turn 3 Acolyte) If I keep getting hunters Gnomergon Infrantry is surprisingly good in aggro vs aggro. Ancient Watcher and taunt givers is old but effective.

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.

Tempo Mage has been doing really well for me against aggro. Arcane Explosion is a card they never expect, and I tech'd it in just for this reason.

Priest with double zombie chow, double deathlord, double sludge belcher, double holy nova, etc.
I've found out-aggroing the aggro with aggro priest to be pretty effective.

I counter aggro with Face Hunter.

Seems legit, aggro has no heals and almost no taunts AND my pally deck has a good matchup against Face Hunter. So go for it :P
This is statement is false.
