I have been playing hearthstone since just before the kobalts and catacombs expansion was released. I am not the kind of person who splurges on ingame items and so my hs collection had not grown massively since then. I started off by playing Dragon priest, then moved to zoo warlock when I had enough to craft keleseth. This deck although it won me games did not win my heart. With the release of boomsday I had enough residual cards to craft worse copies of some of the meta decks. Tempo mage being the one I liked the most and fleshed out with the purchase of a primordial glyph. However both of these decks feel into the trap of just being agro decks. Although I liked the short game time with me playing on my phone mody of the time, each turn didn't have many viable choices, it seemed as if once the turn started, I had but one feasible choice. I then decided with the lucky unpacking of deathstalker rexxar to try out some hunter decks. I tried deathrattle, spell as well as secret hunter variants to find something I liked. I liked deathrattle hunter it was fun interesting and each turn had many ways it could go. Now I have just done a full clearance of bad/unplayable rares and epics as well as some golden cards. I now have ~2000 dust and would like to accentuate the power of my deathrattle hunter deck. I being both dust poor and without much hearthstone insight would make a bad judge of a good addition to the deck. And so I would like to consult the wise mind of the HS forums about what I should do/craft/make/delete system 32.
Here is a deck list (first time using the feature so apologies in advanced)
So in the list you posted, you don't have the big beast package which is pretty standard in most deathrattle hunter lists. It provides a strong late game and can easily provide an extra push to finish off games. The main card behind this is Kathrena Winterwisp and the supporting cards for it is King Krush, Witchwood Grizzly and either Savannah Highmane or a Charged Devilsaur. That being said, you don't have to run these ones and can instead go for different alternatives. Before I got King Krush in a pack, I ran Ultrasaur because while it is horrible when you draw it, it can easily shut out games for literally no reason.
The cards I think you should take out would be Vicious Fledgling because it doesn't work with the big beast stuff, Firework Techs because they work on only 1 minion and probably the Sunfury Protector because often enough you are able to be the aggressor and don't have to play defensively.
Some lists also run Keleseth, but I think this list is fine the way it is. Making room for keleseth only would mean that you would need other legendaries such as Zilliax or Houndmaster Shaw. Hope this helps!
So you believe that the kathrena package makes the deck better overall rather than just adding houndmaster shaw, who I've seen being praised as a must have for all hunter decks?
Katerina as you said provides a late game finisher and lots of stabilisation from the witchwood grizzly. However in my eyes I fear the initial onslaught of odd rogues and zoolocks.
In your opinion should I be more afraid of control decks and therefore put in Katerina or agro decks and find some more mitigation for that?
Thanks for your initial advice. I just want to know all of the information before I make a big choice.

Definitely not a must have, but he does improve the decks quite a bit.
Kathrena + King Crush package is very strong. If your opponent does not remove King Crush immediately you just use your cube and voila board full of charging dinos. Houndmaster Shaw is very strong as well as it enables you to trigger deathrattles immediately and helps against aggro. I would say Kathrena has bigger impact on overall winrate though.
Interesting addition is also not so popular secret package (few secrets and spellstone instead of kelleseth). It makes your end game a bit worse but shines against aggro. I've had a lot of success with that deck.

I do not have many cards to my name however they do include keleseth, however replacements for all the two drops would have to be made.
Thanks for your respondence.

Assuming that you have none of the beasts I listed, I would make Kathrena, 2 Witchwood Grizzlys, 1 Savannah Highmane and 1 Ultrasaur or any other large beast.
The cards I think you should take out would be Vicious Fledgling because it doesn't work with the big beast stuff, Firework Techs because they work on only 1 minion and probably the Sunfury Protector because often enough you are able to be the aggressor and don't have to play defensively.

I don't have something witty about this deck, I just like it because Malygos is fun.
