The cards I consider not good enough in this deck are Hand of Protection, Divine Favor, Micro Machine, Scarlet Purifier. Divine Favour might stay in the deck, since your curve is pretty low and you will probably be able draw one or two cards with it. However, I think this card is too unreliable since if you fight against aggro, they will not have big Hand bigger than yours, since you also have some cantrips (azure drake and hammer of wrath).
Since you probably lack the Adventures, replacements for the former four cards could be another Piloted Shredder, Muster for Battle, Quartermaster and maybe another 5- or 6-drop like Piloted Sky Golem or a second Azure Drake (for card draw). Boulderfist Ogre is also still a decent minion, if you do not have other heavy 6 Drops. Anyway, I think a muster for battle is a good choice for your deck. It gives you 3 minions that have synergy with sword of justice (if it has 3 charges left, it's a nice combo) and you have a good chance that one of the dudes sticks on the board to be blessed by the kings on turn 4.
Blood Knight can be a pretty big minion in your deck, but it comes with the disadvantage that it steals your own divine shields and is susceptible to silence and possibly to BGH (which you also do not have in your list but is also very valuable card to craft). I like blood Knight more if I can steal other people divine shields. As to Coghammer, I don't have it and, thus, do not know how good it is.
I very much like the proposal of Redemption. This Card works pretty well with scarlet crusader, silvermoon Guardian and sunwalker (and to an extent also with annoy-o-tron, although it does hurt the least when annoy-o-tron is revived).
€: However, I still think that Naxxramas is not available for OP. So my recommendation is to save the gold for at least naxx (in the fourth wing you get mad scientist)
Divine shield minions are a bit slow, and cards like blessing of kings and sword of justice just yank it back even further. Def drop those 3 and a hammer of wrath for another equality, 2x muster for battle, and I would also suggest crafting that coghammer. These tweaks will speed up your deck and keep you pushing out your divine buddies faster :)

Now, if you do feel you must keep the Avenging Wrath, Keep it in place of the Sword of Justice. Now the reason, I don't think Lay on Hands is a good fit here is because, it is one card, doing a lot of things. I like to distribute it's effect over a number of cards, like Guardian of Kings and Azure Drake, so that your opponent shouldn't just have to brace for one card, but 4 cards. In case you don't have the cards I've mentioned or don't have sufficient dust to craft them, I can suggest replacements.
The most effective decks often have similar core cards, but do not have anything to do with your initial idea of a divine shield paladin. If you reduce the divine shield minions, redemption is of course also not good at all. Redemption should be used in way that the opponent most likely has to kill a big minion with divine shield (like sunwalker), otherwise it's a poor secret and a waste of cards (in particular if you have dudes to be killed).
But anyway, as you can see everyone favors different cards (stonerino suggests 2 equality and vrex3 only one), so the best approach is probably that you play your paladin and you will realize which cards you are not happy to have in your hand (so you can replace them step by step). I also would not get rid of lay on hands since this is your only proper card draw mechanic should you run out of steam. Without it you have to rely on the azure drake and hammer of wrath as cantrips. In that case, you should really try to maximize the use of your hero power (starting mid-game) to save some cards.
You already have a lotta card draw, Azure Drakes and Lay on Hands, Divine Favor is probably gonna be a dead card in your hand 9 times out of 10, try replacing it with something more effective and mid game playable, like a Sword of Justice or another Ironbeak Owl.

However, from your list I guess you neither have naxx nor BRM. If you have them, I'd replace These cards by 2 Sludge Belcher, one Solemn Vigil and one Muster for Battle. And I'd cut Argent Protector for Zombie Chow.

Blood Knight could do the trick here. Since u have so many divine shield.
Divine Shield is a very nice theme to combine with Redemptions and Noble Sacrifices (more effort to clear the Divine Shield).
I'd change the whole concept to a very fast deck, with Mad Scientists and more Divine Favors to refill the hand.

Sorry, didn't realise that Naxx was out of the question. Mad scientist is but a proposal, and can be replaced by anything aggressive really.
Here's a modified version of what I was playing pre-Undertaker patch.

I'd suggest the following
-1 Equality, Acolyte of Pain, Ironbeak Owl, Stormwind Champion, Lay on Hands, Blessing of Kings, Truesilver Champion, Sunwalker, Divine Favor, Avenging Wrath
-2 Annoy-o-Tron, Redemption
+1 Azure Drake, Coghammer, Sword of Justice, Dr. Boom
+2 Quartermaster, Guardian of Kings, Big Game Hunter, Defender of Argus, Gilblin Stalker

Hi , i do not have coghammer , dr doom , quartermaster , big game hunter and defender of Argus. Why is Guardian of Kings needed? Thanks
Guardian of Kings is excellent against aggro decks, heals and maintains board presence, very useful in my opinion.
What Coghammer does is pretty unqiue, so the closest alternative would be another Truesilver Champion, or an Argent Protector.
I suggest you do craft a Quartermaster, it provides excellent value.
Dr. Boom again is unique, Ragnaros the Firelord or Tirion Fordring are probably the only viable replacements. If you don't have either, put in a Stormwind Champion, although it won't be anywhere as effective.
Sen'jin Shieldmasta for Defender of Argus. I can't think of what to replace Big Game Hunter with. Put in a Wild Pyromancer and another Equality to foster the Pyromancer-Equality suicide clearance, but it does have it's negative effects on your board control too.
