I got my 500th win the other day with Control Mage. Since I got the Mage Loa as my free card I am using that one, combined with Zola, Mojomaster and Elise as the late-game "engine" to counter the meta a bit, so not running Sindragosa or Alanna. I'm also running the Pyromaniac and Fire-eater to combine with the Loa and the DK. I don't have Arugal or Pinata, but it does look interesting.

Congrats, golden Jaina looks very cool ;)
Mojomaster and Elise are interesting options, but they do look fun. Thanks for sharing, can you post a decklist?
Pretty standard BSM for me. It's one of my favorite decks and I tried to incorporate new cards, but I find the package that I ran during The Witchwood is still most effective for me. When I play casual, though, I usually roll with a draw-heavy Luna's Pocket Galaxy/Azalina/Togwaggle package. I rarely win on that condition, but it's a slightly interesting twist, at least.
I'm curious how often you get value out of Arugal, though. You only have one way to draw minions (Pyromaniac + ping) without having to wait for your next turn, and even those draws are somewhat susceptible to whiffing with 11 non-minions in the deck.
Archmage Arugal is a cheap minion the opponent has to remove, I like it over The Lich King for example because you can use a board clear and then play it on an empty board. Raven Familiar draws spells so Arugal has a better chance of "going off". Pyros offers value as well, so if you don't like it you can swap those 2.
I can't make myself craft Arugal, but I did have double Pinata so I put in in this version. It also has Zihi and Applebaums to counter this Hunter/ Combo metagame. I played about 10 games and won 7, so it feels kinda decent at least.
I’ve been rocking the keleseth version with tyrants but I’ve got to say it really struggles against faster decks and OTK. I love BSM and have over 700 wins with it but the current meta seems to spam all over it.
I like running Pyroblast in the Prince Keleseth version, I know it's one less buff received, but it lets the deck be surprisingly proactive with a good finisher.
In my opinion Doomsayers are an integral part of Control Mage. I never even considered replacing them. I can see your point of wanting more value generating cards so maybe cut 1?
Hey guys, I'm wondering what your Control Mage looks like. Personally I'm having a lot of fun with this version:
Is anyone having good succes with BSM?

How high do you rate Arugal compared to Thalnos and Pyros? I rotate between those two in the last flexible spot of the deck.

My fun version that actually worked quite good.
My odd version.

I like that version, but I'd try to put in a Gluttonous Ooze somewhere ;)
Is Doomsayer important? I always feel they are redundant. I rather run a Pyros/ Archmage Arugal + Ooze over them.

There is only my justice now

1 seems a decent number, I'll put in an Arugal, Pyros or Ooze instead then. Cheers ;)
