I think deck of wonders and aluneth can easily kill you. There's no point putting deck of wonders since it can really screw you up with random spells that can be from every class. So it can cast you that new warlock spell that discards your hand and it's gg. Aluneth won't work in this deck because a lot of times you will have 8-9 cards especially with oracle and arcane intellect and it will just mill you and you don't want that. Leyline manipulator might be good in casting spells and completing quest faster but it might not help this deck that much. As a quest mage player I think quest mage will remain the same unless we see some direct quest support.
I'm pretty sure not the deck of wonders. Too much mana and too random and doesn't really help the game plan, freeze mage needs to be really specific with what they are doing.
Also I'm not sure about running both the leyline manipulator otk and the quest otk packages. They both take so many cards to do anyway that you're probably not going to "double your chances" of getting a combo in time. You'll need to dig though your whole deck for either one anyway... You might be better off running more stall and survival tools instead to actually get there. But idk. Maybe it'll work out. I guess it's certainly at least worth a try!
And i never like ghastly conjurer in exodia mage. So much I would rather do for 4 mana. The 1 mana mirror image is a non-issue as that can be weaved in on any turn, but I would rather put a coc than the conjurer if you're looking for a stall. Give me my tome any day in those decks
I still haven't seen any cards that can go into the deck. Maybe a single armor gain minion,
you can attack with a 0 attack weapon, guess you never played Gorehowl, so it decreases durability and only draws twice (if you understand basic math)
man, what he hell are you talking about????
aluneth will not draw three times and break man... it will stay there forever drawing cards. it's not written "draw 3 cards and lose 1 durability"
Unless you attack with it every turn.
Only by somehow adding 1 atk to the weapon because you CANNOT attack with a 0 atk weapon... you just cant attack with a character without attack value. People come on...

According to the guy, it's possible to attack with a 0-attack Gorehowl, which would mean it'd be possible to attack with this (since they're both 0-attack weapons). Personally, I have no experience with that particular weapon, so I can't say so myself - I was just reiterating his point since it seemed like you misunderstood or maybe I misunderstood him that's possible too.
Looking at some of the cards coming down the line, I'm wondering how well this style of Exodia deck would do:
This space intentionally left blank.
id try questless exodia
Don't you think Aluneth is dangerous to mill one of the combo cards?
You can attack with a 0-atk weapon?
I play quest mage without the OTK. I think it's more fun. I just complete the quest, and see what an extra turn will do for me. It's not horrible.
Anyway, I will go for the quest/elemental deck with Lesser Ruby Spellstone.
It has 0 attack. But even if you could, durability has nothing to do with effect.

how do you attack with aluneth?

For what profit is it to a man, if he gains the world and loses his own soul?
