There are several legend viable Druid deck archtypes (of which you yourself listed a couple) so I don't see your point. Egg Druid, Aggro Druid, Combo Druid, Ramp Druid, Comboless Ctrl Druid, what more could you want?
I've been finding COMBO druid to be very inconsistent lately. Druid suffers from having no catch up mechanics if they're fall behind. Clearing a board requires you to burn a number of spells or sacrifice minions. Of course you have those awesome games where you just ramped and drew perfect and win on turn 4 with a savage roar - it just is so inconsistent feeling though. I haven't played a more ramp oriented combo-less druid but did tinker with a Reno Druid that found moderate success.

Well its back to the drawing board for me as far as decks go for Druid. Im going to try my hand at something diferent instead of running a similar version to what everyone else runs. The point now is to have fun so fuck winning or losing. I dont care anymore. Just gonna throw my cards out there.
Ironically - ranking up, even legend is great and all but I highly doubt it will end up on anyones grave stone as an effigy :)

Can you give us an idea of your mulligans and overall strats against let say Secredin, Renolock, Control Priest? Maybe you are doing something wrong but you think is right.

I'm sure there are some things I'm doing wrong.... Probably. Overall though it's been a matter of not being able to control the board leading up to the mid and late game where Druids really shine. As I said, if you can't use wild growth and or innervate fairly early on its a huge uphill battle from there because now you are playing at the same mana level as your opponents who very likely have faster decks. Swipe is fine for Paladins and their knights but for many other classes it is NOT a good removal tool. So, as turns 3-5 happen if you haven't been able to "ramp" at all it gets ugly quick from what I'm seeing. Even if I throw a taunt or whatever out there it tends to get removed quick or silenced and back to face smashing continues.
I have actually won games and in just about every case regardless of my opponent that ramping up early basically sets the table for the victory. Maybe that's why it's called ramp Druid, lol. I guess my big question here is: what do you do if those precious ramp cards aren't in your starting hand? How do you survive against even midrange decks with hardly any true removal?
Couple more tries this morning. Fucking run over by a Tempo/Flametard Mage & secret Paladin. I even did draw growth. It doesnt matter.
Right now on theladder Im on, Druid sucks against everything Im facing. Way too slow, way too dependent on God-like draws. What the fuck with this class? LOL. Maybe in a slower meta it'd be great. It does have its moments but mostly you are always chasing/reacting. The other decks load the board and you're fucked. Show me otherwise or lets see a real guide on how this is supposed to work.

The ramp cards are important yes that's why the mulligan is important. But Darnassus and living roots could help you survive a bit early game along with Wrath and even Hero Power. I don't know what to tell you, maybe you can watch some streams and see them playing druid. I've tons of friends reaching legend with Druid so I'm pretty sure the deck is solid.
Sorry but Druid seems to be a shit class right now. Ramp is way too dependent on early draws and gets murdered if you dont curve out right. Combo is old news it seems. Aggro? Ugh.
What the fuck with this class? Though it had potential?
Check out S2Mikey's post in the paladin forum where he complains that Midrange Paladin is also crappy.

This just in - midrange Pally has fallen back as of late. Secretadin is king now on ladder as far as Paladins go. And Midrange Druid is fairly slow unless you get off to a great start. Those are the facts, son.

hm.
ramp druid is the one of best control deck's in the game.. Still !! op !! and u can easy climb
Egg druid is a cancer aggro deck 97% win rate untill rank 5-6..
beast druid can beat u really easy
and aviana druid deck's is really expensive but OP !!
Well, well. For the hell of it I added back a Living Roots and removed one Lore for a Kezan mystic due to all of the damned Paladins and Mages. Guess what? Its certainly working better with a little more early game presence & Kezan stealing secrets. Interesting that just a few card swaps made a difference already. We shall see.
I'm not a fan of the Combo Druid either, it's a shame to reduce the game into putting ur opponent at 14 health while having those two cards in hand, but I love playing Druid so I have made a whole lot of decks not using combo....mostly ramp decks^^
I have actually been quite surprised by how well this insane deck has been doing haha
What is Hearthstone to you? A fun and semi-competitive game with wacky effects and crazy RNG outcomes or just a card game you wanna grind as many wins you can get as fast as possible in?

OP, maybe take a break from the combo druid. You strike me as the sort of player that should be running secret paladin :)
