Yes dude i tried it. I build a deck Featuring nzoth. Without savage roar! But i really what to play it on ladder. Last month i go legend first time with shaman. But i dont want to do this anymore. I want to play aggroladin new deck on ladder!
You can try token druid. You can finish with savage roar after a big swing turn like violet teacher+few spells+power of t he wild or some fandral combos or you can even try illidan/summoning stone version for more token generators. It's like slow midrange, that setups first few turns by ramp/raven idol/killing enemy minions, but then you can have crazy OP turns with fandral or token generator. Lategame you can choose from powerful cards like yogg, ragnaros, onyxia, cenarius, aow. Must have 2x arcane giant. There are lot of possible builds.

I just recently made and been playing the "I'm not even joking deck". It is so much fun and does well. plus yes it plays like the old school combo druid. p.s. Medihvs staff + ss + heal portal ftw.
I tried the shell of the old midrange druid but without the Fon/Roar combo it's just bad, token druid with a twist is probably the way to go if you want to play that style.
Well beast and cthun druid are kinda midrange, as for combo druid the only combo left is malygos and that is 26 dmg if you don't use the roots and moonfire for board which is sometimes recommended and needed.
The best option for a midrange Druid is a token based strategy that also utilizes Soul of the Forest and Savage Roar. The idea of the deck is to make a ridiculous board using violet teacher and wild growth, then Soul your entire board to win with Savage the following turn. The "combo" still exists in a sense, it is just much slower than in the past and involves a bit more setup.
I thought about this a few days ago. There was a time when midrange druid commonly ran only one copy of FoN. So with just needing a 3 card combo, Malygos should fit that type of deck. So I tried to build it like druid of old and remembered that AoL was nerfed. Keeper was nerfed. So I started filling in with the good cards that we have gone to these days to fill the void like Nourish, etc.
When I was done, it looked a lot like what our druid decks already look like these days. Go figure.
Hi i am tired of all the decks out there. I am missing the times of Midrange/Combo Druid.
Is there a possible Revive of this deck for Standard without Force of Nature? A strong midrange build for Druid?
IDk about standard. im sure theres a way, but just going to wild and doing nzoth is much simpler.
The best way to solve problems is to create more problems until you are dead
C'Thun Druid is a midrange type of deck
Well the thing is i am a Standard only Player. I destroy all my Wild cards for dust.
The Option of nzoth came also in my mind with the earthern Raptor etc. But is it the true midrange build? And how to optimize the deck?
Btw iam german sorry for bad english
Yesyes you are right. But i am also tired of cthun decks :( i want some great midrange finishers with savage roar!
What about Dragon Druid? Kibler was playing a mid-range style Dragon Druid a month or two ago that looked pretty fun.
HERE IT IS
8
Have you tried building one yet? I suggest you do that first before you start asking for lists made by others. Trust me, it's a lot more fun.

Well nice deck! I will try this. Not what i expected but also nice! Thx dude!
I was going to say the same myself. At least my C'Thun druid plays out like that. turn 8 Brann + 13/13 C'Thun ftw.
Yeah nice! But do you think its possible to rebuild the old deck and refresh it. With the old core like druid of the claw and savage roar
Any other ideas?
