It's not just "gain 5 mana" tho. It's literally an extra turn, which means extra attacks, extra ticks on something like thaurissan or other start/end of turn effects, heck, even the 5 mana alone could definitely mean Mage has alot of spaces to do some fancy combos (Freeze Mage?)
I'm just another one of those. You know, those who do things. Things that need to be done by those that do these things in order to do those things that don't do these things themselves. Has the word 'things' lost meaning to you already?
This allows you to gain 5 crystals. And attack twice. And draw a card. With no potential counterplay because this is Hearthstone and no one can intervene during your turn.
This can easily be used to set up a two turn lethal (attack, Fireball face, Time Warp, then attack again, Pyroblast) It is an insane effect, especially for Hearthstone.
The question is - can the quest be done without being an hindrance? I'd say yes, especially with Primordial Glyph coming. Just imagine KazakusTime Warp decks. Delicious.
There's a card in Shadowverse called 'Dimension Shift' that does this and it's absolutely crazy, enables some ridiculous combo finishers. Will be really powerful.

It's pretty clear the people underestimating the power of an extra turn (even at 5 mana) haven't played other card games.
Any deck that goes for this quest would be playing Arcane Giants, which means you give them charge. Plus whatever fireballs, frostbolts, etc in your hand, you're looking at an easy 16-20 combo.

I didn't have a signature so Flux added one for me.
Uhh...yes I would like a power 9 card. I'm guessing we're getting another card like Babbling Book and Cabalist's Tome.
Wait, so lose a card to gain an extra turn with only 5 mana?

[Game] Name another card that has the same...
Hearthstone is a game of "copy and pasting"

It's just a jump to the left . . . . .
Is this the mage quest? If so it seems awful
it's not just a chance to burn on another turn....
it "gives" any minion you summon charge. so arcane/molten giants get to attack
"All your minions may attack gain 5 mana"
After seeing Toasts video I like it way better tbh.
Using it when your ice block popps and you have the arcane and molten giants in your hand is awesome :)
yeah, its a huge combo but you dont need all giants all the time for it to work, dmg spell do work with it
5 mana, draw another card, refresh your hero power, and get in another round of attacks . . . . I'm ok with that!
