About this deck

Generaly your game plan is to burst down your opponent in one or multiple turns. This deck has many tools that can clear the board efficiently and enough card draw to help you collect the combo pieces. It is powerful against all kinds of decks, aggro, midrange and control, and if it is piloted well it is almost unbeatable.

Key card choices

Prophet Velen:

A very powerful card against aggro and against control. It has a fine 7/7 body for 7 mana, and a very powerfull effect. Against control decks it gives you the power to OTK them. By playing this card after summoning Shadowreaper Anduin, your hero power deals 4 dmg, and if you combine it with Mirage Caller, it deals 8 dmg. Against aggro it lets you heal for 4 health each turn with your hero power, very useful if you have already used Reno Jackson or you are still waiting for him.

Mirage Caller:

A very good card that lets you deal 30 damage or more, if combined with Prophet Velen. For exaple if you play two cards after copying velen, you can deal 30 damage. Each card you play after that is +8 damage. This minion can be used in other circumstances to copy other usefull effects like preist of the feast to let you survive against an aggro deck, or copy Bloodmage Thalnos, Loot Hoarder if you really need to draw.

Emperor Thaurissan:

A very good card that lets you discount your hand and complete the combo for 30 damage or more. Also a very big threat for your opponent that will absorb his removals.

The Curator:

One of the most important things for this deck is card draw. The curator is a great defensive tool with taunt and fine stats for the mid game that ideally lets you draw two cards Azure Drake and Coldlight Oracle that let you draw even more cards. If you add up the card draw, in the best case this card lets you draw 5 cards!

How to play

Against Aggro
You mulligan for cheap minions like Crystalline Oracle, Northshire Cleric, Fire Fly, and spells like Potion of Madness and Spirit Lash. You can also keep Reno Jackson or Kazakus if you get them first. In the mid game, using spells like Dragonfire Potion and Lightbomb you should be able to clear the board, and stabilize your health using your free hero power from Raza the Chained, combining Priest of the Feast with spells, or with Reno Jackson.

Against Midrange
You mulligan for cheap card draw like Bloodmage Thalnos, Loot Hoarder, Novice Engineer, and spells like shaow visions Shadow Word: Death or Shadow Word: Pain. You are also looking for Raza the Chained. in the mid game try to use you AOE as efficiently as possible and try to discover Dragonfire Potion or Lightbomb from Shadow Visions. To complete your full combo for exactly 30 damage, you need to have Raza the Chained, Shadowreaper Anduin, Prophet Velen, Mirage Caller and two zero mana cards, these two zero mana cards could be zero mana spells which are included in the deck ( Circle of Healing and Silence, or cards discounted by Emperor Thaurissan. Some times you will need to deal less than 30 damage to finish your opponet, so the full combo is not always necessary.

Against Control
You mulligan for cheap card draw like Bloodmage Thalnos, Loot Hoarder, Novice Engineer. In this case you will probably have to pull out the complete combo because control decks tend to be very good at healing, and some times healing even more than 30 health with the help of some armor. In the mid game to throw only unnecessary cards, mostly minion like Stonehill Defender, Priest of the Feast, Tortollan Shellraiser, Azure Drake, and some times even Reno Jackson will not be useful. When you get emperor thaurissan do not play him until you have Prophet Velen, Mirage Caller, and some one mana cards in your hand. When you are ready to finish your combo try not to mess up the order and do not miss any hits with your hero power. Bonus hint: Try not to make a very comon mistake, do not play Northshire Cleric and after Circle of Healing on a damaged board because this will mill you and considering you will be completing your combo in the end of the game it is very easy to lose the game that way.
