I got legend this month with this deck and i just would like to share.... have fun
Can i try this deck , without LORD and TWISTING ? if i can try it , replacement for this cards ?
Grats Sonecarox :)
I liked your C'Thun Renolock,
and this is my version of the Combo C'Thun Renolock:
What do u think about Jaraxxus vs Sylvana? I have dust to craft 1, but not sure what to choose
I think it's more reasonable to craft Sylvanas at least just because you can play her with any class and she fits more decks.
AKAWonder brought this deck to the EU Championships -1 Usher of Souls -1 Mind Control Tech +1 Acidic Swamp Ooze +1 Doomcaller
Damn solid deck.
I played this deck yesterday and it is very strong. You almost win every control matchup. Against aggro, you will lose if you don't draw Hellfire early. That's the #1 reason I lost so much vs Aggro. If you have your Hellfire and Reno in Hand it's GG.
I am trying a Baron Geddon now for more AoE. I took out the MCT.
Only if you already have the adventure and had disenchanted them. Check yourself.
Well, here's my honest opinion.. Not all reno decks require you have 1 copy of a card. There can be a couple copies so, I would say add a second hellfire/shadowflame in place of demonwrath. As for IGB, I would go for Imp Master. Same effect as Imp Gang Boss but summons one at the end of the turn at the expense of 1 hp. Try it, it may work, it may not.
What do you mulligan against aggro?
I can't speak for anyone else but for aggro I always try keep any of the following if I get them in my initial draw: Doomsayer,Hellfire, & Demonwrath. Mortal Coil, Disciple of C'Thun or Mind Control Tech could also be a consideration. Basically anything that has instant removal.
To be honest I always keep Doomsayer no matter whom i am playing against. Dropping it in round 2 or 3 almost always at the very least stalls the game for a round, either with the opponent choosing not to play a minion or using up a precious removal. And I ALWAYS keep Reno Jackson irrespective of the opponent; he is such a key card that you simply cannot afford to have him floating around at the bottom of your deck.
I find aggro is either won or lost on the draw of the first couple of rounds.
The opponents I constantly struggle against is Rogue Deathrattle heavy N'Zoth, the Corruptor decks. This Warlock deck has a strong focus on removals but that works against you when you're matched up against cards like Twilight Summoner (which is almost always followed up with by Unearthed Raptor in the very next round)
I am having a lot of fun with this deck, it's one of those ones that I feel that can have an answer for any situation thrown at you.
I have a couple of changes though:
I haven't played much Warlock and I do have a question though about the best practice - how often should I be using my hero power. For example on round 2 if my opponent has a 1 drop on the board and I have Beckoner of Evil, should I be using my hero power or should I instead be playing my 2 mana drop?
Just another mention on my post above:
I'd also like to add an Acidic Swamp Ooze card into the hand but I'm not quite sure what to replace out for it. Especially with Shamans being so popular at the moment, it would be devastating against Doomhammer, although it would equally be as useful against many of the other weapons still frequently in play, such as Fiery War Axe, Truesilver Champion, Eaglehorn Bow or Gorehowl. I'm tempted to swap out either Cult Apothecary, Earthen Ring Farseer or Beckoner of Evil for it since I believe it has the potential for a much bigger tempo swing than them. Cult Apothecary is particular I've found to be lackluster - if they've got enough on the board for you to actually make good use of it then you're probably better off trying to use on of your clears or your Mind Control Tech. A 5 mana 4/4 doesn't make a lot of difference even with the heal.
Does anyone have any tips for this deck against aggro. I keep getting destroyed by zoolocks and murloc Paladins
those are hard matchups, usually you will lose 60% of the time but if u hard mulligan for reno u have a much better chance at winning.
Yeah aggro extremely difficult to beat these days I'm experimenting with "spreading madness" sure it can attack you and your minions but turn 3 typically you won't have any and it can really mess up aggro players. What do you guys think?
Can i play this without demonwrath and doomsayer? I lack this two cards. Any replacement. (I almost have dust for doomsayer though)
kinda "must have" cards, to much aggro novadays(
