THE MIRACLE FINISHER:
Instructor Fireheart & Dwarven Archaeologist's combo alongside Shaman's cheap pool of spells to highroll you decent damage or value potential
TURN 1 SQUALLHUNTER:
Early Squallhunter on turn 1 or 2 with Lightning Bloom (s)
TURN 1 ARCANE WATCHER:
Early 5/6 minions on turn 1, 2 or 3 with Arcane Watcher, activated by cards like Rune Dagger and Primordial Studies
SPELL DAMAGE SYNERGY:
Plenty of spell damage synergy
Scholomance Support
New support cards in Voracious Reader, Diligent Notetaker and Devolving Missiles
Cut for time
Individual cards that nearly made the cut. Faceless Manipulator would give you an OTK on your Dwarven Archaeologist but you'd have to hit part of the combo with your Far Sight or have both of your Lightning Bloom 's in hand.
Alternate Package: Control
Shaman is severely lacking a control win condition, but has a plethora of control tools that could support a more controlling/stalling gameplan
Alternate Package: Dragons
Alternatively add more of the dragon package for added value and spell damage.
Alternate Package: Big Spell
For a more controlling late game deck introduce more board clears alongside the new Headmaster Kel'Thuzad
Alternate Package: Prime Ressurect
Ressurect your Lady Vashj with the new legendary Vectus alongside one or two 1/1 Impacaster 's from Rustsworn Initiate to combo your burn spells.
Alternate Package: Spell Damage
More spell damage for more face damage
Alternate Package: Quest Battlecry
And potential for more spell value from the quest

Indeed, have now added more spell damage synergy with Rune Dagger and Arcane Watcher, along with Voracious Reader and Ras Frostwhisper
Honestly why not run Gadgetzan Auctioneer with all thoose cheap spells. Maybe over Manatide totem?

Definitely considered him, but I think since his nerf he's a little bit costly to 'pop off' on a burn combo. Shaman a notoriously bad with card draw so will have to wait and see but food for thought.

You try too hard to be cute with your guide writeup and "organization" instead of simply just creating a competent, functional deck. You're not even building the deck appropriately according to your own guide. "Very burn focused" but you're running stuff like x2 Devolving Missiles which could quite obviously not be more of a control card. Then you have a lightning breath with literally 2 dragons so good luck ever activating that. And why the earth shock? If the deck is burn who cares about taunts? That should be another frost shock or something. And lastly if you're running the discover discounts, I would think that x2 Vulpera Scoundrel should be auto-include.
A few fair comments in there, the reasoning for the Devolving Missiles is the disruption and need for silence in the Scholomance meta - I appreciate we don't want to control but the decks' burn combo's come mid to late game, so there's an element of control or stall regardless of the burn mentality ... we're not just shooting lightning bolt face every turn. Like I highlighted, Vulpera Scoundrel and Cobalt Spellkin could be an include.
If you removed the control spells you'd easily find yourself using face spells in replace of them

you do realize shaman doesn't have unlimited burn spells there's not that many in the class and most of them are in the deck :) willpwn is correct in including more survival tools like devolve in the current scholomance meta, this list actually has all shaman burn, the only other 1 would be rockbiter which requires u to attack so it can't get through taunt anyway.. idk why u speak when u have no idea what you're on about, go include rockbiter and watch how you'll lose to buffed minions :D
There is not enough card draw ( a problem for shaman). And there is no real late game that can stand up to anything, you would just dump your hand to easily. I would cut Frost Shock and Earth Shock and add in 2 Cobalt Spellkin. for extra Value, more spells and lightning breath Synergy.
Along with that i would also cut Lightning Storm and 1 Devolving Missiles and add 2 Walking Fountain.
But lets hope we get a spell card draw!! That would be amazing.

Yeah, it's hard to say what package to go for this early - but Frost Shock & Earth Shock would be a pretty safe swap to Cobalt Spellkin since we've got spell value generation going on. I'm just keeping the list burn focussed as opposed to control/stall focussed since like you say; Shaman doesn't really have an end game these days! Hopefully some more support will be released in the next few days that steers the deck in a control/combo direction, as that would be my preference too!
I really like the idea, but I want to do the OTK with it, which means I want more than 2 Dwarven Archaeologists. Faceless Manipulator could help becuase we have access to Lightning Bloom. There is also a slim chance to chain multiple Ancestral Spirits on the Archaeologist on the combo turn then kill it to have more.
Im gonna try this on day 1 for sure.
Knowing Shaman pretty well, I'm hesitant for the OTK because they have such notoriously bad card draw, even with Lady Vashj. Likewise, with all the new deathrattle and minion effects I think the meta will be full of silence removal, meaning Ancestral Spirit will likely whiff most of the time.
Hopefully a card or two will be revealed that supports the OTK though!
Maybe you are right about shaman card draw, but I think you misunderstood my point about Ancestral Spirit. When you have 2 or more dwarfs and you discover it from Fireheart you can play it for free in the combo turn. If you manage to get more than 1 ancestrals on the dwarf then discover something like a Lightning Bolt, you can kill your own dwarf to multiply it. It could be done in the combo turn so the opponent's removal is irrelevant.
Ah gotcha, for sure that would be great, although very highroll - something to look out for for sure
