I try to update my stats every day:
Btw I'm really confused why the guides on the homepage with extreme high win rate in the title doesn't have a screenshot as proof. And so many upvotes! Hmmm....
I found this deck on cocosasa's twitter. I had an amazing time playing this deck. If you don't like reading, you can watch the video and subscribe to my youtube channel by clicking HERE
Watch part 2:
Watch part 3 with some hsreplay stats explained:
This deck has a good early game with secrets on turn 1, Sunreaver Spy turn 2 is insane on curve. Good mid game with the annoying 4-drops, especially combined with Redemption. And huge late game cards with Tirion Fordring, Kangor's Endless Army, and much more! This deck really feels like a meta breaker! No Psychic Scream in standard, FeelsGoodMan! And I haven't seen any silences (yet).
My favorite cards to start while having the coin: Redemption on turn 1, afk on turn 2(don't hero power) watch the video and you know what I mean. Turn 3 coin out Bellringer Sentry. Turn 4 another Bellringer Sentry or Annoy-o-Module. If you have Hidden Wisdom instead of Redemption, you do press hero power of course. Or play Sunreaver Spy if you have it on turn 2.
Now without coin, you should go for 1 secret and always Sunreaver Spy and keep also any 4 drop IF you already have the 1 and 2 drop. But in slow matchups you still can keep the Bellringer Sentry, it's just the best card in this deck. It will thin out your deck, meaning a few steps closer to good top-decks!
Situational keeps: Aldor Peacekeeper is good against mage and warlock, because of Mountain Giant. Harrison Jones is good against rogue and warrior. Mysterious Blade is good against rogue, they have lots of 3 hp minions. Consecration is always a keep against druid.
Remember, if you have the worst secret during mulligan, which is Never Surrender! and you also have Sunreaver Spy, don't hard mulligan for another secret. That's too greedy! A secret is better than no secret at all!
I have won all my games without drawing Commander Rhyssa if I'm not mistaken. She can be replaced by an Ironbeak Owl, good against Edwin VanCleef, the only game I lost because of not running silence :( Countess Ashmore can be replaced by Hecklebot. This is very good against aggro and it's a mech! Not so good against control, but you already have the advantage against control matchups, so you don't have to play it while it's in your hand. Harrison Jones can be replaced by an Acidic Swamp Ooze, but keep in mind not to play this while Redemption is active. You need the Redemption for your 4-drops.
I hope this guide will help you to climb higher on ladder. Up-votes will motivate me to do more guides in the future. Good luck on ladder!
New freeze mage post: https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1268917-freeze-mage-is-back
I'm playing something similar as this list and tbh it feels so smooth. A lot of people have no clue how to play against all the secrets aswell as the rattle effects.
Currently I'm rank 3 and normally I don't push for legend as I can't be bothered. However this deck might change that as rogues and warriors fall victim left and right and games feels very one sided unless draws are complete garbage. Overall a really strong deck with great potential.
Why no dino eggs? too slow / enablers?
1. a 0/5 on turn 5 you will lose against tempo rogues, check out hsreplay's stats. Rogue is bad matchup for egg deck and compare with my stats against rogues.
2. instead of playing a 0 attack minion on turn 5, you rather go with bellringer sentry + secret or annoying mech + secret, or secret into weapon, 2 drop or 3 drop + something else.
3. when you have 2/2 whelp on board, trade with something and merge zilliax with 7/7, which means kangor's can get lots of value instead of some useless eggs for 7 mana.
4. when you master this deck, you will be happy to see token druids and tempo rogues
I think the egg gets better with more taunt magnetics, like the 1/5 as advocated over at vicious syndicate. The egg should block and attack, and then becomes a great target for redemption and kangors
What about Rhyssa. You are not adressing her use anywhere. Do you keep her in the mulligan?
No I don't keep her, she is for mid or late game. You really need 2 or 4 drop and a secret in your starting hand. Bellringer sentry is the best card in this deck. If you have this in your starting hand you will likely win the game.
What was your experience against Khad/Giant mage? I've been facing a ton in my local meta.
I think it's 50/50 matchup. If they get 3 cards on turn 2, go with giant and 3 mana spell to get more giants. Then you probably lose. Currently I'm 2-0 vs khadgar mage.
I always love seeing your decks Misplay, keep it up!
I've always been a midrange pala guy since Grand Tourney, haven't tried this deck yet but I hope it scratches the itch.
Fun deck. One thing to look out for though, if you don't mulligan a secret and one small minion against aggro like zoolock, the match is really hard...most likely a loss if the 2 next cards you draw are not usable. Otherwise Zoolock gets crushed. I was surprised at how effective this deck can be against rogue and . Warrior is a tough matchup.
Here are samples of what I could do with it for those who say the deck is garbage:

Warrior: https://hsreplay.net/replay/pmCZ7vYkzqwagb2dP7WWRG

Thanks bro, but you don't have to do this for me :) Way too kind. Just let the haters play their own deck, I don't have to proof them anything. Let them craft the decks on the homepage of hearthpwn that says in title 80%+ win rate without guide, without video, without screenshots :)
I don't even bother to answer them lol.
Even though I don't have enough dust to fully craft this, it looks like a tier 1 deck on the spot. The Paladin tools are amazing to recover with and just get those massive bodies in play. Sadly I am focusing more on the Dragon Archetype, it doesn't seem like its going anywhere this expansion atleast :(. Great deck anyways!
Currently 21-9 with this deck from rank 15-9. Easily beats everything except token druid and mech hunter
This deck is hot garbage, will get run over by all the popular decks, zero chance against Warrior. Countess Ashmore is absolutely wasted here, drawing only one card if you already have Zilliax. Only run this if you want to lose a ton of ranks. Your stats are completely one-sided, getting a bunch of lucky Rogue matchups. Total bot upvoting joke.
I've been playing the OG version with the eggs. Now that does well against warrior. But then it gets run over by all the other decks lol. Can't win them all.
Yeah I was trying to run the egg version the first couple days, and it was just gassing out hard against too many decks, Kangor's is just not enough value to get it done, maybe next set this deck will shine. If you're gonna run this you definitely need eggs to have enough value to win games. No 2 mana Equality also hurts this deck hard, since the Wild Pyro combo used to be a huge stabilizer.
replacement for Tirion?
LOL ... there is no replacing the single best card the game has ever seen. If you're at all interested in playing paladin for any length of time, craft him. He will ALWAYS be useful.
I'm wondering if an Ironbeak Owl might be more useful than Harrison Jones? If conventional wisdom is that no one in the current meta is running silences, might that be a good reason to run one?
