**UPDATED with some core changes**
Play it like Odd Paladin.
Imp Masters / Microtech Controllers are helping us to get wide on the board and benefit from a big Frostwolf Warlord. Thanks to our damage free Hero Power, we never run out of steam.
Faceless Manipulator is there for multiple reasons;
- To dublicate Leeroy Jenkins,
- To clone our opponents ridiculous minions like Mountain Giant or Ragnaros the Firelord
- To double Raid Leaders on board (like Savage Roar),
- To double our taunts.
Grim Rally is the best tool to activate Voodoo Dolls. Sanguine Reveler is also another good option.
Lord Jaraxxus is not a-must-have. You can replace it with Stormwind Champion or the second Faceless Manipulator.
Cards to consider:
Here's a wonderful video made by kiwiinbacon showcasing what this desk is actually capable of.
Here's another interesting video that may help you gain better insight into the deck. Courtesy of brilliant YouTuber Tommy Wave.
**I will add more detailed guide if I get positive feedback**
zilliax is very good for this deck. I placed him instead Jaraxxus
I just tried a couple games and even at 14 it's not really a good deck. Main issue is the upgraded hero power is pretty much worthless. Like why not make it 0 cost? sparing yourself the hp cost provides nothing at all to the game scale.
garbage and pointless
normal zoo is sufficient enough
could I replace voodoo doll with witches cauldron? or do you think something else would be better? or maybe should I just craft it?
I'd go with Ironbeak Owl instead to deal with gigantic taunts but Witch's Cauldron can be good too.
Lmao. Sure it's different but there's literally no reason to ever run an Odd Warlock. The upgraded hero power is nowhere near good enough to restrict yourself to only odd cards.
Or ya know -Baku +Keleseth and the deck will perform even better.
It was same for me for the first time I played Spell Hunter and Secret Hunter. I'm not saying this deck is as strong, but some decks are requiring some time to get familiar with and get a result out of them. Still I'm sorry to hear that it didn't work out for you.
Another spicy list from HooliganPolygon! Love the ideas here, such a fun deck too! Played a few games with it, check them out;

Thanks mate, embeded into the guide. :)
I think the idea is there, but the actual list is lacking. The heal zoo deck from last expansion worked so well because healing helped to counteract zoo's greatest weakness: damage from agressive tapping. If you take the baku approach, then you can theoretically build a zoo deck without the heal package. Obviously this doesn't really work well, so instead you could try and build a midrange warlock deck that relies on the hero power. Having resources as a midrange deck is very useful. Even a refined version of this list would only be tier four, but it could definitely be a fun deck.
A potential list would include all of Zoo's 1-drops (Kobold Librarian, Flame Imp, Voidwalker, maybe soul infusion), a few good 3-drops (stonehill defender, tar creeper, vicious fledgeling, maybe doubling imp), a few good 5 drops (Fungalmancer or Cobalt Scalebane), the Skull package (Skull of the Man'ari, Despicable Dreadlord, Doomguard, Voidlord), and maybe Jaraxxus. You could potentially add a beast package to the deck (oondasta, amani warbear, witchwood grizzly). Again, not top tier, but usable.
Actually your idea was almost identical with what my first attempt was. It didn't work out as well as this deck has worked out for me so far. A midrange list may have a lot more chance after rotation, I reckon.
This is absolutely not a Tier 1 deck but it's absolutely fun and if you can get familiar with the playing style of it, it's working decent enough to climb on the ladder.
Currently, I'm working on an Odd Mech list which actually performs even better than this one. I'll post it soon, I hope you'll check it out too. :)
Yeah, after trying out my idea, I realized that midrange doesn't work well. Both versions of the deck are fun to play, but the hero power is so laughably bad for the deck restriction. I'll check out the mech version, because I'm really enjoying this archetype despite it's obvious lack of power.
Played 5 or 6 games. 0 wins. Is this a troll deck?
Granted, I replaced the 2x Voodoo Dolls with 2x Fungalmancer and Jaraxxas with a 2nd Cube.
Upvoted for the creativity
0-6 at Rank 5.
Is it possible to replace Voodoo Doll
Not as fast but for removal, you can use Giant Wasp or Stoneskin Basilisk. Also, you can consider Ironbeak Owl.
nice nice, starts with "By the holy light" and ends with "i give up" . Will try more tomorrow but the best of this deck is to imagine the face they will do when they realize that they completely underestimated the deck.
Probably never a highly played deck
People who say odd warlock is useless, I beg to differ, I have been trying to make odd warlock work since baku came out and fail miserably since I thought a full aggro direction is what this deck should be but it turns out it is a more midrangy token direction that is better. Finally someone did it. The main advantage of baku warlock is not the 2 damage it saves you. It is the shame you bring to your opponent once they loses to you.
