Plain and simple Control Lock that I'm using right now.

Mulligan guide with tips:
In general try to keep some good 1 or 2 drop as Kobold Librarian and Plated Beetle as well as one or two removal <5 mana. The Coin is pretty useful with Shriek, as well as a fast board clear in case of emergency ( like turn 3 Hellfire). Demonic Project is pretty good when you know the enemy hands contain Combo pieces or VIM (Very Important Minion) such as Bwonsamdi, the Dead or Shirvallah, the Tiger or also Hakkar, the Soulflayer.
Vs Secret Hunter/Spell Hunter: KeepHellfire, Defile and Chief Inspector, Stonehill Defender is also very good for the free taunt as well as the Plated Beetle.
Vs Paladin: Actually I never seen an OTK Shirvallah the last week so for the Even -> keep good curve card such as Kobold Librarian and Stonehill Defender, Hellfire is pretty good. For the Odd -> keep Hellfire and Defile and you will f***ing demolish that deck.
Vs Odd Dragon Warrior: Oh boy, you'll need to be aggressive. A good hand is the usual 1 2 3 drops, maybe Spirit Bomb to remove annoying minions, but that's it, try to play in curve and go face. Try to keep Bloodreaver Gul'dan for the RagPowa, and then try to fatigue him. Rin, the First Disciple is a must not silence for the fatigue win, so try to wait for his tech silence to be used or try to gain another Rin from Stonehill Defender.
Vs Odd Elemental Mage: well, is a race. I find easy win with Rin, the First Disciple, so try to keep her, with Stonehill Defender and Hellfire for the board clear. Remember that BirdRag exist, so don't waste all the strong removal before it comes on board.

Changes and tech cards:
Acidic Swamp Ooze: i don't think you can remove this, it is good for a lot of classes and also is a 2-drop meaning you can Twisting Nether and then destroy the weapon. I mean, the other Ooze is ok with the armor but we don't really need that, don't we?
Dread Infernal: I like it so much, is a good body and goes well against Odd Paladin and on top of that activate Lesser Amethyst Spellstone. Other than that with the DK i find it better than the usual 1/3 with taunt (obviously).
Chief Inspector: is good against Hunter and Mage, but you can use a Silence tech card if you don't encounter these classes.
Skull of the Man'ari: is always a good thing, so if you have it swap it with Dread Infernal.
Gnomeferatu: it's good. Swap it with Plated Beetle if you want it. I find the armor a good value against aggro decks but burning crads is good against combo or VIM.

If you want to discuss anything don't hesitate to drop a comment!
i lack doomsayers and am unwilling to craft them (just waiting to open one in a pack, at least then i can go reno).
in wild doomsayer can be half-assed replaced by darkbomb, i was told. would you say there is a way to replace doomsayer in standard, too?
Unlike me, you get right to the point, lol. Nice control build and great, succinct tips! Kudos!
Only short of Lord Godfrey and dont plan to craft him. Any good without him?
Godfrey is a god-tier removal, I don't think you can use it without him. But you can always try and post the result ;)
I don't have Rin....still worth playing this deck? I could sub with the weapon...
I think Rin is a semi-core card, because it provides both board and pressure. Try it but I don't think it will be the same.
From my expierence in wild Void Contract is much better than Demonic Project. How it is in standart?
In my opinion Void Contract is a bad card in a Control deck because it remove also a lot of your resources. I use it in a Zoolock and it works pretty ok, but i don't think Control is the right choice for this card.
Awesome deck! Love the tech choices you've made, it's feels good to be trying out new cards in a well established archetype. Played a few games with the deck, check them out;
(Games start at 3:06)
While we didn't have much luck with the Inspector, both Shriek and Spirit bomb were very useful. Thanks for sharing the deck, stay wavy!
why the spirit bomb in this aggressive meta? shadow bolt is much more reasonable imo.
also skull of manari over dread infernal? cheating out void lords can really give you the edge vs aggressive decks
If you have the Skull add it, because it's obviously good. I didn't included it because I find the deck good enough as it is but, again, if you have it add it.
Also no Gnomeferatu's? I thought those guys were like auto includes? is burning cards not as useful as it was? I used to love those Glinda set up's, was beautiful to watch it go off.
I prefer the Plated Beetle just because of the armor that sometimes is very good when you don't have a good hand against aggro decks. I will add Gnome to the list of changes so everyone will see that, thanks dude
how is this currently mate. I only need that new spell and the go to secret eater type card so can roll this out right away. been away for a few months though so going to be a bit rusty.
If you've played Control Lock as it was before Boomsday, is just the same. What is different is just some cards but the core of the deck is just the same.
how is this? my best collection of cards if for warlock so I can always build a deck for them with all the bells and whistles. has warlock taken a back seat this time around? I know nothing of the new cards yet... I did get a legendary for warlock and rogue though in my free packs and they are the 2 classes I tend to play the most.
hoping I can stick with them and not have to invest any money again till next year as that boomsday double pre order was expensive, man.
Bad if Priest have two 5 dmg spell and is in dark form. Propably u will loose if u are unlucy as i am.
But vs Treant Druid win.
I never encountered that deck, so no experience atm with this control. Honestly every time I lose is because I'm unlucky or because I used removal when they weren't that necessary.
That deck should not be around much if at all, most of the meta will be control warrior until nerf or meta rotation. The Control/Mind blast priest deck loses to control warrior at a very high %, especially baku.
with Rin, we should be able to take down the current anti-hunter boogeyman.
FeelsGoodMan when dropping a Chief Inspector on turn 5 when they are loaded with secrets. That comes 2nd to dropping him after they play Zuljin. Great Deck!
