I’ve been having EXTREME success with this on ladder. If this gets at least 20+ upvotes I’ll make a mulligan guide. If it reaches 50 I will write a full guide!!!
ENJOY!
Wow! I didn’t expect so much support so fast for my first deck! Thank you! As promised, here is
the mulligan guide:
As always with new expansions (and especially new rotations) you never know what you’re about to face until the Meta cools down, but for now we can make our best judgement calls to try and thwart any threats coming our way.
Safe bets are always Northshire Clerics, and Shadow Ascendants, they can provide a good amount of card draw/board presence against most control decks.
VS Control
when I’m facing what I think may be a control deck (usually Warlocks and Shamans at the moment, sometimes Mages if you find yourself facing Tempo Mages) I will try to mulligan for Chameleos. Knowing what is in your opponent’s hand at all times is a HUGE advantage. For example, knowing the shaman you’re against has Shutterwok in his hand, you’ll know that once he plays the other pieces of the OTK he is GOING to play the shutter next turn (bad example, but you get the idea lol)
VS Aggro
When facing aggro I mulligan everything but Northshire to try to find a Duskbreaker Dragon. Use them wisely, you don’t have a lot of wide removal in this version, but it still keeps up well against aggro.
cards you DO NOT want in your opening hand: (anything that is wonderfully effected by Lady in White) such as: Quartz Elemental and Unpowered also you don’t want anything typically above 4 mana in your opening hand.
remember, 50+ upvotes I’ll make a full guide, and perhaps even a video tutorial. I’ll post any updates or good substitutions that I find when I find them :) Thank you again for your support!
FULL GUIDE COMING IN THE NEAR FUTURE! (SEE DECK HIGHLIGHTS BELOW)
DECK HIGHLIGHTS:
Kiwiinbacon
Below is KiwiinBacon's Spiteful Lady deck highlight, he provides awesome insight to how I play this deck, when to clear the board, when to play taunts, and when to play your finishers. I highly recommend watching his video below!
There are also 3 other videos in the comments that give wonderful insight as well! go check those out, Thank you again for all of the comments and feedback and constructive criticism!
Replacements and alternate versions coming soon!
(The comments section is providing AMAZING suggestions for the above!)
Also if you have comments such as: "This deck is trash" please at least provide an explanation of what you would change about it. Thank you.
This deck should have Prince Taldarama if you don't want 3 drops.
What do y'all think about adding Dollmaster Dorian in somewhere?
I hope I don't come off as trying to crap on your idea but dollmaster is a very very poor fit for the deck. The only time you would be able to get doll value is if you can play doll & cleric on the same turn AND have a minion to heal. Other than that you have to pray he sticks a turn and that you don't draw one of your spells instead. Also, there's very few cards in the deck that would give you any value as a 1/1
I have been playing this for a couple of hours now and I am extremely satisfied with the results. while there are no 3 drops on the deck, the curve can be absolutely insane anyway and I really like it. I had made a video for it but apparently there was an issue with it so I re-uploaded and here we are! I really hope you all enjoy!
Where is the Keleseth?
I removed chameleos for prince and love the swap.
yeh Chameleos isn't a necessity, as much as Keleseth, but its a good card to have. My friend uses both and chameleos can sometimes get good things and tell you what your opponent may do next. But Keleseth is definitely a craft before chameleos and I'm happy its working great for you.
I don't think we've even scratched the surface of what the Lady in White is capable of yet.
hsreplay.net reports this deck at 45.2% winrate in the Legend-10 bracket right now.
However a there is a version of Spiteful Priest with Lady in White with a 59.3% winrate in that same bracket. It uses Prince Keleseth.
I've posted it here at Hearthpwn for reference: https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1086150-lady-keleseth-spiteful-priest
I love how ppl are mindlessly upvoting this deck when it's not even good - just new. This one you posted looks far more promising.
Thanks for the idea, really liking the Keleseth version. I added in a Mossy Horror to help against those Paladin decks.
This meta... what are people playing on this ladder though monkaS ?! Great deck :] !
Oh yeah 4Head
This deck is freakin fantastic. While Lady isn't required for winning the game, it is quite easy to completely destroy your opponent with her power alone. I truly believe that this deck will be tier one and I definitely recommend to everyone to give it a try if you haven't yet.
i was gonna say kiwii please make a video with this deck and i went checking and found out you already did lol
I am actually going to have to re-upload my video as the last part was laggy as hell.
The name of this deck sounds like a dramatic soap opera.
Tbh i never got Lady in White to work, but its still good
Can you explain to me the reasoning behind Quartz Elemental? I really think he does not belong in this deck.
