Because it's still a starting Hero Power, just a different one
and if I play justicar after his effect, I assume I wont get a 1 cost upgraded hero power, right?
Justicars Wild Bff.
Playing a Mountain Giant on 3? Hell yeah sign me in ! I am soo itching to play handlock or any non cubelock for that matter.
Almost all the control tools are even costed cards like Defile and Hellfire.MY INNER HIPSTER IS OVERJOYED!!!
I think face hunter could still curve really well with this card. Every odd turn you just hero power to face.
Who knew that we might see a meta where Pint-Size Summoner becomes a necessary card?
Interesting idea. Makes you think about your deck and what can and can't fit in. This seems like it would fit well in warlock and hunter, who want to use their hero powers a lot.
Why is not a Beast?
Because he is a humanoid
Yeah, I believe the general consensus is that if it is sentient, it's not a beast.
Genn Greymane might be a beastly man, but he is not a beast... in his heart.
in other words, despite the appearances, Worgen have not really been considered being beasts, since they're humanoid race, Kindly Grandmother being sole exception thus far.
I think its less powerful than Baku the Mooneater because I feel like an upgraded hero power for 2 mana is worth more than a normal one for 1 mana. It just makes your hero power so much more impactful. In wild we might see some with this card plus Justicar Trueheart though. Whether the even/odd archtype is viable in generell remains to be seen and will probably differ extremely between classes.
Starting. hero. power. costs. (1).
Aggro Paladin could easily make this work. Sunkeeper Tarim, Drygulch Jailer, Knife Juggler, Dire Wolf Alpha, Consecrate, Equality, Pyromancer, Call to Arms... not that out of the woods to say it might have potential.
Dont forget Lightfused Stegodon. With a little tweaking this card can wreak havoc in Paladin...
This card would naturally fit into an aggro hunter deck. Even the DK is a 6 cost card.
Genn will not trigger with quest cards in your hand/deck. This effect spans your whole deck, and doesn't factor in Prince Malchezaar. Someone confirmed these already.
