Tarim is pretty bonkers because he comes out on turn 6, and provides perhaps the most excellent murloc synergy ever.
UNGORO BELONGS TO THE TITANS!!
Very good card design. Fun to play.
One month ago, i rated this card bad. Today, I crafted him and played some Controlish Paladin. Well, this dude was the MVP. Climbed from 8 to 5 without any problem. You can make unbelieveably good trades with this guy's ability. He saved me lots of times. Sunkeeper Tarim rules, man!
I can probably say that I was very lucky about those matchups. Didn't see that much of quest rogues. And quest warriors were not much of a problem because of your hero power and Vinecleaver. I mostly played against freeze mages: I had lots of healings and also, I always discovered Eye For An Eye. The strategy was simple: "If you cannot win, do not let your enemy win.".
That was the deck I used:
Forbidden Healing
Lost In the Jungle x2
Doomsayer x2
Equality x2
Hydrologist x2
Wild Pyromancer x2
Acolyte of Pain x2
Aldor Peacekeeper x2
Stonehill Defender x2
Wickerflame Burnbristle
Consecration x2
Truesilver Champion x2
Elise the Trailblazer
Ivory Knight
Spikeridged Steed x2
Sunkeeper Tarim
Vincleaver
Ragnaros, Lightlord
Tirion Fordring
I don't regret crafting this card in golden. Its so good. Even against zoo lock it saved me. Also very good in handbuff decks and in NZoth decks
This card is extremely good. We will see how the meta shakes out but if paladin is played at all, I think it will be recognized as a must-craft. The obvious comparison is to Eadric, but Tarim is cheaper, has taunt and is much more versatile. He is a really fantastic combination of buff, board control and removal.
I swear, the RNG. So i open 8 packs, get this dude and no other legendaries. my friend opens three packs, and gets Tyrantus AND golden The Voraxx. the RNG is real...
Atleast you got a legendary in 8 packs, I didn't get a single one after 34 fuck you
Is that Raiden's and Xin Zhao's voice actor?
Good effect and body, but the art is what makes it legendary!

Its shit. slow and can buff your opponents board. We lose keeper and this is not enough.
Token paladin say hi to devolve = you lose.
Then dont play him against aggro. Also do all classes run devolve? Or is devolve reason not to play aggro/zoo decks? Standard is ful of zoo now.
"let me think of the specific matchups and cards against which this card doesn't do well, and I'll conclude that the card sucks altogether" What a great reasoning. Not.
I think this card can be meta-defining. Many people aren't thinking that this card can also be a mini board clear - for example the opponent has 3 minion and you have 3 minion, but their minions are much stronger than yours - you play this card you can cancel out their minions and be left with a 3/7 taunt on the board. Of course this is situational but you are very likely will have at least 1-2 minions on the board by turn 6 or higher.
Another method is that this card doesn't have to be played with tokens it can be played with murlocs. Most murlocs are 1/1 2/1 and etc with this you can boost the 1/1 and 2/1 to 3/3 with the murloc themed buffs.
Just an idea.
Instead of thinking of him as a fusion of Eadric the Pure and Keeper of Uldaman, I choose to think of him as a very swole Quartermaster when you play a lot of Silver Hands.
"2 ARMS, MEN! with +1/+2, Taunt and generally nerfs the enemy minions for 1 more mana sounds pretty cool.
