5 mana destroy 2 enemy minions? That would be way too good
*cough cough* Greater Onyx Spellstone *cough*
Absolute garbage, If it was al least 1/3 it might have been mediocre. but 1/2 is so easily removed.
Hard removal has always been one of Druid's very biggest weaknesses. Druid has always had very few hard removal spells. In fact, the only Druid hard removal standard is the notoriously bad Naturalize.
Not saying this card is good, it has its weaknesses. I'm doubtful it will see play. However, it does fill a niche Druid needs, and it has a good reason to exist.
You play this and don't get AOE or get spiders killed by tokens in response is most of the time lucky at high enough tier. You want to buff the spiders, but if you are buffing your tokens you are playing Living Mana instead...
Ok, you draw a card that is a 1/2 with poison. The cost is 2.5 mana, the true question is are you happy that you drew it?
If no: congratulations, you are currently or soon will be a Legend player!
If yes: I'm sure you'll get past that rank 20, dude. Maybe you just need to add another one of these spells to your deck.
it's not 2.5, because two 1/2 with poisonous would be 6. they are in 1 card, that's 1 mana added to the card right away. I'm not defending the card, it's still shit.
[card]Stubborn Gastropod[/card] makes this card look stupid. These don't even have taunt!!!
well true that, but they are still in 1 card and that's better than two different ones.
At first glance, this card is ridiculously underpowered. Playing this would mean passing 5 mana off just to summon two slightly better Pit Snakes instead of investing that mana on a Druid of the Claw, Nourish, or even a Verdant Longneck. But the more I think of this card, the more balanced it is. Comparing it to Assassinate, this card is theoretically better than that since it removes two minions instead of one for the cost of having to remove those minions a turn later. Also worth mentioning this could be better than playing two Deadly Shots. We can't forget that Druid has a ton of board-buffing abilities. Playing Mark of the Lotus alone is equivalent to summoning two Emperor Cobras, so if this card costed any less, aggro druid may go out of hand. Overall I'm not complaining that this card is so underpowered and that Blizzard is actually paying attention to these kinds of things, so don't go all "wtf is team 5 doing?" when we see another card like this, they know what they're doing. All that being said, this card is insta dust it tho lmao.
I dont want to be this person but... Since everyone thinks this card is bad (including myself) lets mention the art.
Its pretty sweet. I wonder how it looks in golden (the glowing web and all of the shiny things). Sad its wasted on this card...
"Druid got best legendary Epic card in a game so the rest of it doesn't have to be good" Team 5, 2017
Burgle rogue nerf.
Pit Snake x 2 = 2 Mana (I know 1/2 is better than 2/1 in terms of Poison but come on...)
Stubborn Gastropod x 2 = 4 Mana, and it's a Taunt minion!
Give those spiders Stealth and we can talk about it.
Stubborn Gastropod is the best argument. It's on paper SO much better than this card and even that sees zero competitive play.
for 3 mana, really powerful, for 4 mana maybe playable. For 5 ripoff...
This will show instead of druid of the claw in arena sometimes lul but hey atleast druid got Ultimate Infestation
The card should be called Slimy Grass and it should summon two Stubborn Gastropodes to make it atleast decent
This strikes me as an arena-only card.
That Tauren looks overly impressed with cat's cradle
