Not just better. I would call it stritctly satanic.
People used Forgotten Torch only some of the time and it doesn't make the cut in most wild decks, and that card is probably better on average.
Card draw is a lot better now, so Ignite could easily be better in the new environment.
When out of cards: Sanctum Chandler + 2x Sorcerer's Apprentice + Ignite
I'm wondering about this combo too: would the new Ignite get shuffled before you draw? If so, then we have an infinite combo... no Antonidas or complicated set up required!
Maybe if you use two ignites, it wouldn't matter anyway.
I had this same idea too :D Can't wait to try it out.
Apprentice and 0 mana spells (there are instances where 0 mana spells are okay like one time discount with Preparation etc., but continuous are not okay) are overdue anyway. Should blast them off existence to the nerflands.
You can play Minion mage, and just two copies of this spell, and potentially do that in turn 9.
it keeps it discount from mana overflow. you dont even need to apprentices
I think it gets infinite on it's own.
playing four Ignites a turn would be better than just one a turn, I mean
Infinite with Aluneth with some spell-copying cards like Educated Elekk?
It's almost like an unkillable Gadgetzan Auctioneer
