I know druids have good card draw. One of the best in the game. So this is a good quest if they put from 5 minions to 4. Would be perfect. And raise the rogue to 5 minions and mage quest to 7.
Perfect.
Do gnome children have beards?????? Or is it a dwarf? I don't think it's a dwarf because dwarves go better thematically with Awaken the Makers.
its just a regular gnome with a beard but in a giant jungle
Tested it in beast druid and works pretty well, there are various 5+ attack beasts and with the Menagerie Warden you can do some pretty nasty combos, usually when I complete the quest it takes one or two more turns to win the game. However in my other ramp druid that doesn't focus on beast synergy I felt like I was better off without the quest.
BTW: Some interactions with this card
If you run Malorne in your deck and use Barnabus, if Malorne dies and return to your deck when you draw, it it's gonna cost 7.
But for the bright sight this card doesn't screw with you if you use joust cards because the discount is not accounted when Jousting
Just no.
At least the way this quest-and the meta-is right now, I sadly say that this will never work in the long run. The requirement is not that hard to complete, it's just that the reward does not impact the game much-most of the time you'll have a rather low amount of cards in your hand by the time the quest is completed, and even when you do, you'll just start dropping one big minion per turn-something you would already achieved normally. True, you could nourish out some big guys, but there is no room for big taunts in the deck except ancient of war, and charged devilsaur can't smorc, so your big guys won't impact the game immediately, leaving your opponent, who probably has a respectively good board of their own, a whole turn to take action. I know some exceptional cases can happen and you overwhelm your opponent, but most of the time this happens. This card would be better if the minions in your hand were reduced to 0 cost.
When you accidentally help him complete the quest with Dirty Rat
The only thing improving this quest would be to reduce to 0 hand cards too. Otherwise dust. Ramp are better off without having to play trash minions to get the quest finished early.
This quest is so fucking bad. Worst among all classes.
I think Paladin has the weakest quest. (imo)
true, the paladins quest is WAAAAY to slow and can be targeted by a little card thats a friend of mine called Felfire Potion and Dragonfire Potion
It's not easy to play 5 minions with 5 attack or more
Why the hell did they make it 5 when expecting a slower meta while at the same time making the Warrior quest 7? Don't you say "because 5 attack minions are harder to summon" I respond with you're an idiot, this is Druid, the class that has access to innervate and constant ramp/draw power. This was such a mistake that without a single doubt in my mind I can say that this is going to be our tier 0 deck if aggro does not take over.
Well, I crafted this to try it out, basically the card is useless.
If you get to the stage where you've summoned 5 minions with 5 or more attack then you've already won and you don't need this.
So far I've won games where I didn't draw this at all. I've won games where I drew the quest but it was pointless since I was winning already. And I've lost games where I drew this and wish it was anything else.
The only good use for it is food for Gadgetzan Auctioneer.
That's weird because quests are a guaranteed first draw.
As always all the degenerate cards go to Druid, while all the shitty ones to rogue.
As always people say the rogue cards are shit and they end up being crazy. It's like the cycle of life. That's why I say the rogue cards are crazy from the get-go.
I take my words back, this card is insane. With 6 bouncing cards and two mimic pods it is so easy so fulfill the requirement.
All standard druid cards with 5 or more attack (when Journey to Un'Goro is released): Tyrantus, Giant Anaconda, Verdant Longneck, Elder Longneck, Kun the Forgotten King, Cenarius, Aya Blackpaw, Ironbark Protector, Ancient of Lore, Ancient of War, Dark Arakkoa, Menagerie Warden and Lotus Agents. You're welcome.
