Purify!
i don't know what you are talking about with it being a 3/3. this is a 3/7 that will become a 3/5 at the start of your turn. your opponent still, basically has to deal with a 3/5 on turn 3 which is a hug deal. i can see this being used in a lot of decks, aggro and midrange decks. hell, i'd be fine playing this in a non-priest control deck just because the stats are so large it will guarantee a good trade
its start of your turn not end of your turn
It doesn't come in as a 3/5! A 3/7. Hearthstone should really have phases like other card games, the start of your turn is when you draw (a.k.a draw phase)
If this was a bigger card then it would be good/decent, but as small it is i dont see it being good at all, is just a bad Blackwing Technician
In most matchups it will be as good as a 3 mana 3/5.
A 3 mana 3/5 played on curve will most likely live with 1 or 2 health, this doesn´t
Blackwing Technician still had some restriction, that being you needed a dragon. This has none and as priest you can consistently heal it, especially with cards like Power Word: Shield
This is a very smart design IMO. This is unlikely to be seen in Aggro decks since it gradually gets easier and easier to kill (or just kills itself) yet it should do a good job at countering zoo. While it will only be at 5 health on your turn, the opponent will have to invest 5 damage into it to kill it on his turn 3/4, where Injured Blademaster would die to a Zoolock's one drop without an immediate Circle of Healing. In most cases your opponent will simply go face after you play this, leaving you with a minion on the board. And we all know what a priest can do when it gets on the board. The +4 health talon Priest minion alone will make sure that this thing gets at least 2 trades in, followed by a Holy Nova on turn 5 to keep it alive. Bam, by turn 6 you have the board against Zoo + potential ressurect targets if things don't go your way. And, it doesn't give ammo to Priest Inner Fire OTK since it constantly decreases its health.
This is not a 3 mana 3/5. It's true that it will have 5 health when your turn rolls around, but you won't be able to make use of that 5 health without Silence or healing. You'll attack into something, end your turn, and then it'll lose 2 more health the next turn.
Health that slowly decreases is not the same as Attack that slowly decreases. Attack always gets its full value, so a 7/3 that loses 2 attack each turn will deal 7, 5, 3, and then 1. A 3/7 that loses 2 health each turn, as this one does, will still deal 3, 3, 3, and 3. If it lives that long, that is.
That said, it's a fairly good card for Priest.
A 7/3 that loses 2 attack a turn we'll probable deal 7 to a 3/2 and die, trading 1 for 1.
It's a 3/5 in the sense that opponent needs to deal it 5 damage to prevent its first attack. It has a "guaranteed" attack, but doesn't build a permanent board.
Trust me, this is meta-defining card. You'll come back to this page to upvote my comment later. Why?
1) it's 3 mana 3/5. Knowing how top decks always have removal for everything, it won't survive until it backstabs himself twice. If they decide to let him untouched then it'll just control the board for you.
2) Healing synergy. Yes, this is going to replace Injured Blademaster for priests. 5hp > 3hp
3) Damage synergy. Well patron warrior is not a thing (in standart), so i doubt it'll be played in warrior.
Decent for priest and warrior, battlerage synergy
This has been the hardest card to evaluate for me(besides kazakus ofc). Probably bad, but just how bad? Or maybe it's a meh arena card. Probably just a 3 mana 3/3, but then again PURIFY PogChamp
Barnes value.
this is just a more stable injured blademaster, which is not a bad thing
Blizzard: Purify is a good card.
Me: But it's such a ba-
Blizzard: SHUT UP IT'S GOOD
Priest will never run this over Injured Blademaster, if only because of the latter's Resurrect synergy, and it's the only class that can make do with this card despite such a self-destructive effect.
So, yeah, dust it. dust it bad.
EDIT 21/03/2017: Oh ye all of little (or rather too much) faith. This card ended up seeing no play as predicted.
