I know but versus a 10 mana monster like that you can easally make your board empty then launch this dude
2 Death Wings on Board!
I don't get it. Deathwing have a really HUGE drawback and yes, he cleans the board, but there is less expensive ways to do this like Brawl. But this card have just the same cost, stats and instead of big drawback it have to be not just killed, but also silenced or transformed. How is this even fair? I'm not saying this card is op-op, i know how hard to play 10-mana card which do nothing on turn it was played (unlike Deathwing), I just don't understand this card design. I can easly imagine my control warrior deck (before it was elised) but instead of grommash and boom I just put Deathwing and Deathwing, Dragonlord. Maybe even Nozdormu just to make my opponent be like "HOLY CRAP 4 MIGHTY DRAGONS WHAT SHOULD I SUPPOSED TO DO? QUICKLY QUICKLY!!". I think it will be actually playable and I don't see any reason to not make a drawback to this card. If it would discard the other cards which is not dragons when it dies, I don't even think it would be a problem, like "why do I need this Fiery War Axe if I have so beautiful board?" it will play 4 (maybe 5 with Chillmaw) strong cards already.
At first that is what I thought, and you may be right, but Deathwinggives you an entire board clear as well as a 12/12 body, which is an instant impact to the board proving to be a last ditch effort. This guy is used to finish out the game, while the original is better at bringing you back into the game with a last ditch effort. Of course the two synergize REALLY well together, making it very OP. (Playing Deathwing after this turns its death rattle into a delayed battle cry basically, or pulling Deathwing from this.) Just keep in mind, that this card is far slower, and if you lost control of the board, is going to do nothing for you.
You guys must play a different game than me. Hearthstone is and will always be a TEMPO game, even if you play CONTROL you need cards that make an impact on the board. This has neither tempo or control (doesnt give u board control)
Too slow, wont see play.
it will definitely see play weather or not its going to be a card certain decks run we have yet to find out but with Museum Curator still being a thing this will likely be a good lategame choice not because his deathrattle will be amazing but 12/12 statline by itself can finish out a game.
This card absolutely SUCKS! You guys are way overrating this card on the votes.
For 10 mana it does absolutely nothing the turn it comes.
Then, the effect is real slow, you have to wait for it die to summon dragons, all of which you could have played in previous turns, none of which (as of now) also possess an impact on the board the time they show up.
Unless there are new dragons with automatic charge, taunt or effects this is very slow, very bad. Good in arena only.
Ysera Nozdormu Malygos Onyxia Deathwing Chromaggus
and Chillmaw
what if is brought out by Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound
Totally agree
Once you see how bad this card will be, feel free to thumbs up my original post. A bunch of thumbs down for the TRUTH is harsh!
tequila if ur trying to be a troll ur not a good troll
and if ur not a troll... go outside, try talking in this manner to people :)
You think too much about getting effects. The simple fact is that its a 12/12 body period with 1 tick of Emperor Thaurissan you can make this 9 mana and a Sunfury Protector 1 mana you now have a 12/12 body that they have to go through to get to you that when it dies can potentially replace itself with another huge body Onyxia even without its battlecry is still an 8/8 and then to top it off since you didnt have to actually play her you still have all your mana to do other things.
I was just listing good cards that this can combo with. No reason to be so damn salty. It's a deathwing that doesn't discard your hand, it also won't destroy your opponents minions either. You can easily get taunt onto it as well.
Hmm, that looks like End Time Wyrmrest. So I'm guessing this is the Deathwing from End Time where he won, but before he was made to impale himself.
The real question is what will his attack noise be this time?
quotes from the raid?
Rouge Teaparty time :P
