Too situational imo, against aggro 5 mana is arguably too slow for such a conditional heal and a 4/4 is too weak. Useless against control. Has potential is some aggressive metas.
I don't know, Antique Healbot is extremely strong in many decks, this has a less consistent effect but better stats, so who knows. It could make its way in standard fatigue Druid.
Pretty mixed feelings. Its stupidly strong against aggro, but won't heal much against combo decks... altho it is 4/4 instead of 3/3. I really dont like how imbalanced this card is depending on matchup.
Pretty good against agro 'swarm' decks like warlock
It's gonna be used if theres gonna be a lot of such decks (probably will still be the case zzz)
standard say hello, and healbot says goodbye
Looks very nice! Beautiful art too :)
It's a 4/4 for 5. This means that you're paying 1.5 mana (or 3 stats) for his ability, since a 5/6 is what you expect from a 5 mana vanilla card. If we compare this to Healing Touch, which is 3 mana for 8 health, you would want to gain AT LEAST 4 health from this guy. That means there have to be at least 2 enemy minions on the board to break even. This card is rarely a 5-drop, it's more like a 10-drop to counter aggro decks that have a full board. This goes without saying, but 14 health for 1.5 mana is pretty damn great. Might be played in some decks as a counter to an aggro meta, but overall worthless in constructed. In arena it will be ok as a comeback card.
LOVE the art though. Just wish it had been used on a better card.
healbot was a 3/3 for 5. here you get a scaling heal and a bigger heal. the problem i see is that this card counters zoo extremly good, but struggle vs hunter... if you have 5 hp you dont need a 4/4, you need hp. pretty sad that its not per enemy :/
but also a good card vs midrange and token decks
Yes, but healbot was a guaranteed Healing Touch, which technically made it a 2 mana 3/3 if you removed its ability that was worth 3 mana. This has a 2 enemy minion requirement. I do think I might have been a bit harsh. Still don't think it's that good.
yay! rekt all aggro bastards! its nice to see a control type of card
Jeez this card looks good with a board clear, but then you realize that If you don't have board control by turn 8+ as a control deck, you already lost, but this could be good in a slow midrange deck, it might work well as a crappier Hallazeal, which could be really helpful. Imagine a tanky Shaman deck that has this card, reno, ancestral healing, refreshment vendor and Hallazeal, that already looks good and we haven't even been through half the cards for this expansion yet. So I forsee a new, slower shaman popping up.
It helps against swarmy decks, but not against combo decks like freeze mage.
This is their proposition as a replacement for Antique Healbot. I like it.
i wonder if this is sequentional or per one instance. Could be surprise lethal with Holy Champ in first case
how about 6 mana 7/7 "for each enemy minion, restore 2 health to enemy hero" ?
Why though?
Auchenai? How would this card, in any given scenario, benefit from Auchenai "synergy"?
It's not terrible, but it could afford better stats for that effect. It's only +1 attack from Boulderfist Ogre which is not worth it even for the potential 14 damage burst with Auchenai. It could even gain a keyword such as Taunt.
EDIT: Oh and it shouldn't be called Cult Apothecary, it should be it's own card.
Are you high, Magikurp?
No, just trying to leave constructive criticism unlike some other people.
