At first glance this looks like a worse flanking strike, but when you look at it in context with Zixor Prime it becomes much stronger. Whether or not Hunter will work out with slower control decks is another question.

Very slow very bad 

Man, I think this is just missing a small tweak. Like if it dealt 4 damage, or if it were 3 mana and buffed only for +2/+2, that would make the card solid. As of now, this seems kinda slow for hunter, but who knows, maybe the archetype will be tier 1 and this will be a key card in it? I have my doubts.

This card is quite similar to Flanking Strike, but less tempo. Looks like combo oriented. Doesn't restrict you to minions only, though.
