Clarifications
- Mistcaller buffs minions, not cards created by minions. (Source)
Battlecry: Give all minions in your hand and deck +1/+1.
Calling the mist doesn't sound all that great. "Ooooh, it is slightly damp now!"

You're looking at it the wrong way.
Don't look at it as "what stats do I get for my card?" because that will generally be similar for the sake of balance. Ask where those stats are going.
Yeah, the body of this thing is crap and yeah, you only break even, stat wise, when you play the second minion but this puts everything you play further out of reach than its equivalent. That's huge. Giving a taunt +1/+1 as it is played is far more powerful than simply being able to give it +1/+1.
Well I think that 4/4 is not bad, Starving Buzzard has bad stats, 4 hp is pretty good on minion with strong ability.
The issue that I was addressing is that it might give your opponent a chance to gain control and those buffs might not be enough to regain it. But it is situational and it is hard to say whether it will be strong or not.
I wan't this but i don't want my Fire Elementals become a BGH target :(
your deck will probably have a lot of BGH targets to a point that you dont even care if your minions got BGHed.
I just realized.
what kind of minion benefits most of getting +1/+1? It's divine shield! because it can use the attack buff twice.
I am not sure if this card is going to be good enough, but if it does, its is going to be a divine shield orientated deck
Which means Fjola, which will basically be a Yeti with divine shield whenever you'll buff it :D
lol wtf massive downvotes? haha yet too scared to give any counter argument.
I don't get what is amazing about this card so eveyone get excited. Its 6 mana unthreatening 4/4 minion then to give you value back you have play like 4-5 minions to be good, not "crazy OpieOP" just "good".
The scenario you mentioned above would be insane in Arena, where games can go to extreme lengths. In constructed, we'll see if Shamans survive long enough in the late game for the buffs to matter.
The majority crowd tend to hype legendaries more and tend to imagine up the most extreme situations for those new cards to fulfill the best case scenarios. I would agree with you, the success of this card depends on how Shaman decks can hold up after losing tempo playing a 4/4 on turn 6.
Shamans needed that, but this kind of buff is definitely broken one.
He really is not that broken.
It might not be a winning condition buff, but it's significant enough to have at least 1 mana overload and it has none.
Good card. Better if it was cheaper but had overload.
Great card but who is Mistcaller, why not Drek'Thar or Therazane :(
In WoW he was called "Mistcaller Yngvar", and he was a mini-boss for the argent tournament daily quests.
No idea why they decided to call him "The Miscaller", though.
And makes Wisp a 2/2 for 0 mana! Infinit-er value!
I can't wait to see the golden version of this card.
I hope he has a Tesla coil animation going through his hands.
incredible art and even better effect, can't ask for more as a shaman.
You can ask for Varian Wrynn, you know the best card in the entire set. I'm sure that warrior needed the best card in the expansion because the warrior class is really hurting right now. Varian makes all the other legendaries look like bad cards.
