Clarifications
- Mistcaller buffs minions, not cards created by minions. (Source)
Battlecry: Give all minions in your hand and deck +1/+1.
Calling the mist doesn't sound all that great. "Ooooh, it is slightly damp now!"

Your such a nice person... Just because a deck can be "fun" doesn't mean its automatically going to lose every game
Very True
This card is insane in a midrange/control shaman deck. One big problem: it is kind of a win more card, because if you're behind on board for example an aggro deck, this card won't save you, but if you manage to control the early agressnion, this card will win you the game IMO.
If only he was a 5/5 or even a 4/5 hed be more playable. And the fact that its only cards and not summons. I feel in the current shami deck id rather set up my board more for the turn 7 thunder bluff then play him. Given you have board control and thunder bluff ready. Only time iv seen him playable is agenst dragon preist, cause alot of games iv had with totem agenst dragon preist come down to a top decking battle.even them i wpuldnt play on turn 6 but on 8-10 to follow up with a 2-4 drop
All hail The Mistcaller, may his buffs flood forever.
This guy gets value with every minion played for the rest of the game after him. The longer the game goes on after he's played, the more value you get. The earlier you play him, the more time you have to use the effect.
Then your opponent Unstable Portals into this guy and plays him turn 3... yeah... ugh. Presumably Far Sight into this is similarly game-ending.
I honestly came here to find out what he said when played i thought it was "you cannot stop the clown fiesta" no kappa
BEHOLD! As DisguisedToast shows how bizarrely programmed this card is!

Has anyone tried brewmastering mistcaller and playing him again? do you get +2/+2 to everything?
Dream come true! Fortunate enough to open MIstcaller, Justicar and Confessor Paletress in my preorder. And yes, Mistcaller is every bit as great as advertised. Buffed minions have a green attack / health in your hand. Weenie totems like Mana Tide and Vitality Totem suddenly have a bit of an attack even before played, while Boom becomes a 8/8 body (with 1/1 minibots) and Thaurissan becomes a 6/6. You can nearly get away with a pure totem synergy deck plus a handful of gamechanging legendaries. Mistcaller delivers incredible value immediately - may even be game breaking. But Shamans deserve it after being the punching bag of the meta, no? ;-)
If my Thoughtsteal copies buffed cards, does it copy the buff also?
My guess is yes. The cards display the buff in-hand (with green highlights for the stats).
The answer is no.

I dream of the day I have golden Mistcaller, Al Akir, and Neptulon and make it work. Shaman vengeance!
Just unpacked a golden troggzor, all I saw was a mistcaller.
Does this work with neputlon effect of getting murlocs after mist caller have been played? I'm guessing not, because those cards were not in your hand before playing mist caller.
alakir + 2 rokcbiter weapons is now 20 damage with this guy's buff. control shaman coming soon
I think Far Sight just got a BUFF! :-) I am very happy to see that.
The only way to make me play Far Sight is if it reads:
Draw a card. That card costs (3) less. You also just won the lottery and Emma Watson is waiting outside for you to take her out for dinner followed by passionate sex at the penthouse suite at the Hilton.
And even then I'd only play one.
Feel safe in the knowledge that OTK prevalence will be 'fixed' by Blizzard as they do not like that kind of play.
Look at all the nerfs to OTK enablers over the short lifetime of Hearthstone.
