Results & Top Decks From WSOE 2
This past Thursday and Friday was home to WSOE 2 with Jia and Songbird making it to the grand finals. Here are their post-nerf decks.
The event featured 16 of Hearthstone's best women competing for their share of a $30,000 Prize Pool with the winner taking home half of that. Decklist deadlines were extended due to the surprise nerfs that Blizzard brought out. The format was last hero standing so every participant came equipped with a list for each of Hearthstone's 9 classes.
Congratulations to Jia who defeated Songbird

The rotation cannot come fast enough.
Even and odd decks are so boring....
Deck archetype breakdown with 2 players is kind of irrelevant...
Deathrattle hunter is generally an insane deck and more proven and consistent in in tournament play.
this tournament was fun!
Big ups to the producing team and the casters were awesome too!
Very impressive how the players tried to figure out what will be the best deck/ban so little after the nerfs.
Please forgive my ignorance but I am assuming WSOE is standard. I noticed that there is no spell hunter even though Zul'jin is supposed to be meta defining. Oondasta, on the other hand, made the list.
For a casual player like me, does this have significance? Or will only time tell? Could somebody read the tea leaves and chicken bones for me?
I think that Zul'jin and other cards from the recent year will be brought in the spotlight once the new year comes. Cheers !
They were trying to avoid bans.
dont expect spell hunter and deathrattle hunter to be a good deck in the rotation this April, a lot of their power cards are from Kobolds and Catacombs and Wrath of the Lich King. Zul'jin, i think will still be a good card, Secret Hunter will still be a decent deck, as Subject Nine, Secret Keeper, and a lot its cards are from the classic set
This tournament was amazing. A lot of fun! And yes, Merry Christmas! :).
Seen mostly neutral cards in the "most used card" section feels good.
That is expected, since each player took one deck from each class, and the statistics are done for all 18 decks.
Merry Christmas everyone! ❤
& a Happy New Year! ❤ ❤
