You get a weapon and you get a weapon.

    Everybody gets a weapon.

I think Blizzard missed a big chance to bring back memories from Shadow Labyrinth (in WOW Burning Crusade expansion) the boss in there BlackHeart the Inciter.

He was the boss that Mind controls your party and screams "Time For FUN"
I feel like he would of fit this theme just as well (as he was also a ogre of the two headed type)
He mind controlled players into uncontrollably attacking other players.
Plus hearing that screamed one more time would of brought back so many good memories.

Definitely one of my favorite cards in the game.

Anyone actually tried discarding him? ;)

Nothing happens (took me a few trials games with a friend to get this in my hand + have a discard card) unfortunately, it is just flavour text.
I believe in reference to Warcraft III events where Arthus betrayed him on the command of Frostmourne (ner'zhul controlling the blade)

Since it has an attribute called "mega windfury" has anyone tried giving it regular windfury? I'm assuming this doesn't work because being able to attack eight times in one turn is kinda silly.

Quote from Twitter after this question was pitched to Ben Brode.
    Mega windfury takes precedent.
EDIT: to make this clearer it will still only attack 4 times in total, Mega Windfury takes preference although mousing over teh card will show a wind fury buff, but it has no affect.

Saw a very interesting interaction in my arena the other day.
I had a Mad Scientist out on the board, no other creatures on secrets in play (I was a mage)
A paladin dropped Scarlet Purifier and killed my Mad Scientist brining in a Mirror Entity into play.
The Mirror Entity then triggered and I got a Scarlet Purifier summoned.

So it seems like the process for cards is.
Battlecry resolves > Deathrattle resolves > then the card is played onto the board.

Every deck in HS atm runs atleast 2 silience , which makes this the most useless card in the game , if it cant be combined with a stealth card / minion.

A bit over dramatic don't you think, the higher decks usually contain a silence yes, but your forgetting the best part, they justg silenced a 3 drop over some of your bigger more scary later game cards.

What happens if many minions die at the same time?

The first Minion to be summoned out of that group becomes the target.
    Say Turn 1 I drop a 2/1
    Turn 2 I drop a 3/2
    Turn 3 I drop a 3/2 and Redemption.
and my opponent then uses a board clear that does 2+ damage.
All my minions die at once but my first summoned minion (the 2/1) will be the target of Redemption
