Hi guys, Quackington here; 9 times legend player and going for 10 with this Aggro/Face deck with Beast synergies that im currently at rank 4 with. I don't know the exact winrate but it's somewhere about 75%+.
If this deck gets like 50 upvotes I'll try my best to do an in-depth guide of how to play the deck and general Mulligans etc.
EDIT: As this reached the goal of 50 up votes, here is the guide as promised
This deck aims to develop a strong board with cheap, powerful minions, play on curve and maintain ahead throughout the whole game. The goal of the deck is to push in as much damage to the opponents face as fast as possible to end the game quickly before they can recover. You should go by the rule of "FACE IS THE PLACE" unless your opponent is threatening to kill you or efficiently trade away your board with his/hers, then it's better to trade to prevent them from doing so. The same goes for removal such as Flamestrike, Brawl and Lightning Storm which should be played around as efficiently as possible.
MULLIGANS:
Against Hunter/Shaman: Keep Innervate, Living Roots, Sir Finley Mrrgglton, Druid of the Saber, Power of the Wild and Wrath. Only keep Mark of Y'Shaarj if you also have Druid of the Saber in hand. Only keep Savage Combatant/Mounted Raptor/Druid of the Flame with Innervate (only one of them)
Against Warlock:
Keep Innervate, Living Roots, Sir Finley Mrrgglton, Druid of the Saber, Power of the Wild, Wrath and Swipe. Only keep Mark of Y'Shaarj if you also have Druid of the Saber in hand. Only keep Savage Combatant/Mounted Raptor/Druid of the Flame with Innervate (only one of them)
Against Mage:
Keep Innervate, Sir Finley Mrrgglton, Druid of the Saber, Power of the Wild and Wrath. Only keep Mark of Y'Shaarj if you also have Druid of the Saber in hand. Only keep Savage Combatant with Innervate. Only keep Mounted Raptor/Druid of the Flame with coin/Innervate
Against Warrior/Priest/Paladin/Rogue: Keep Innervate, Living Roots, Sir Finley Mrrgglton, Druid of the Saber, and Power of the Wild (Keep Wrath against Priest/Paladin/Rogue). Only keep Mark of Y'Shaarj if you also have a Beast in hand. Only keep Savage Combatant with Innervate. Only keep Mounted Raptor/Druid of the Flame with coin/Innervate
Against Druid:
Keep Innervate, Living Roots, Sir Finley Mrrgglton, Druid of the Saber, Power of the Wild and Wrath. Only keep Mark of Y'Shaarj if you also have Druid of the Saber in hand. Only keep Savage Combatant with Innervate. Only keep Mounted Raptor/Druid of the Flame with coin/Innervate
EDIT: Since I decided to add Sir Finley Mrrgglton to the deck I've also decided to make a quick guide of what hero power to choose, Strongest ones to the left and weakest ones to the right:
Hunter>Warlock>Mage>Shaman>Paladin>Rogue>Priest>Warrior
I know this so called "guide" might've been a little short so feel free to comment if there's something that I missed or if there's something you're wondering about and I will happily answer it as best as I can :)
any replacements for Fandral Staghelm ?
I'm afraid there's no replacement :/ Btw this deck is really outdated and I would not really suggest anyone to play it at all, ever xD
oh ok lol
any replacements for Sir Finley Mrrgglton?
His original version had Darnassus Aspirant instead of [card]Sir Finley Mrrgglton[/card]
The deck works really well !!
Even if i have only one Savage Combatant (that i replaced with a Loot Hoarder), i climbed the ladder yesterday (rank 11 to rank 5 in less than 2 hours!) with a 15-0 winstreak (18-2 total) :
I don't usually play aggro but it seems like it was not a problem (relatively easy to play cuz i don't consider myself very good ^_^) .
As hero power with Sir Finley Mrrgglton, i recommand warlock hero power vs mid/control and hunter vs aggro. But that's specific for each situation obviously.
Ty for the deck Quackington. I 100% recommend it to climb the ladder : don't miss your golden epic card at the end of the season ;)
Tempo mage shits all the fuck over this deck but it does good against the new Turtle pallies.
awesome. winrate 69% for me. nice deck. i tried a lot of decks but this's rly efficient. and i created new account on imgur for this post. gl
I'm playing something similar but with Stranglethorn Tiger's instead of Azure Drake's, Violet Teacher's instead of the Wrath's and a Raven Idol instead of the Starfire. At rank 3 on NA at the moment, but I didn't play much at all last week. Hoping to finish the grind the legend by the end of the week.
Anyways, really cool deck. I highly recommend trying out some variant of it.
Complete garbage deck, made account only to downvote this shit.
And I used my already existing account to downvote this shit
Wow, did u make even rank 10 with this? deck is ridiculous nabs
Maybe those bunnies are playing on NA so they can make some wins with this random garbage... on EU this is crap
I just want to make clear that this deck was never supossed to be the best deck ever. This is just something that I put together for funs sake and happened to have some success with it on ladder (EU Ladder). And I agree that this deck is garbage at rank 5 and onwards, that's why I put it as a "fast climb" deck since the only ranks it works in is 20-5. Everyone has the right to have an opinion on the deck, but that doesn't mean you have to be rude about it :)
The deck is fun, but can it even beat mage at all? That's all I'm seeing on the ladder, and this deck gets absolutely wrecked by it. Like, no matter what I play they have such efficient removal that I never have the chance to build a board state. Anyone have any video guides or tips?
In the mage-Druid Matchup its hardly mage>druid.
You really have to play nearly perfect, and have the best cards at the right time to win vs mage.
Exspecially Tempo-Mage wrecks aggro druid since BlackrockMountain.
So if u mostly see mage, i consider switching to another deck, untill u see more of the midrange decks u can beat with this deck.
Cool deck, I think this works well because everyone is expecting C'Thun Druid. Playing living roots doesn't tip your hands (but some of the druids do). The burst spell damage is awesome and there is decent card draw.
Had a satisfying victory over control priest where he was doing crazy stuff like pain killing his own soul priest so he could heal his face again. came out with a near victory right when I was running out of cards.
Mrrgglto is the hero of this deck when you get lifetap or even better hunter power. It is really nice playing mrrggllton later so you can tap your own power and then your new power on the same turn if you are low on cards.
I wonder how it will fare against AggroCancer Shaman or ZoOP?
Most likely because this is an aggro deck, not a ramp.
Any replacements for leeroy?
i
Ignore the people bashing this deck. It's great. I've gone from 20 to rank 10 so far with it. Only sub is instead of leeroy (don't have), I sub in a starfire which works just as good if not better! can avoid taunts and get a card draw =) (I might be wrong about it being better though).
