You forgot Garrosh actually grew tentacles.. hm.. maybe there will be a corrupted Gorehowl that has synergies with other weapons, or something.

Yeah, that's true. A corrupted Gorehowlwould be cool or maybe even a corrupted Garrosh himself, similar to Lord Jarraxus in the way it replaces your hero. Blizzard still hasn't revealed anything about Y'sharj.

Yeah, will summon multiple copies of Anub'arak, really slow though but yeah.

Yeah, that's the main problem with Anub'arak right now. He's way too slow, but maybe that will change if the meta slows down.

The Black Knight would also see a lot more play with this change.

    Quote from Szkeptik >>

Hopefully it does get nerfed and I think there are two main ways of doing it:

1, Taunt can't be silenced. - One of the main problems is that owl gives rush decks the ability to just disregard taunt, which -I think- is the most problematic about this ability. I think silence should work with taunts as follows: Minions that have taunt to begin with cannot lose taunt in any way (other than being stealthed). However, minions that gained taunt through a buff such as Defender of Argus can still get silenced off. This way you could still win against a handlock who drops double Molten Giants and taunts them up, but you wouldn't lose all the time against aggro decks that would just silence off your Sen'jin Shieldmasta

I think this modification would lower the power level of silence in general without making it completely useless.

2, Make silence targets more specific. -I.e Ironbeak Owl could become a 2 mana 2/3 "Silence a Beast" and Spellbreaker could be a 4 mana 4/4 "Silence a minion with Deathrattle". On top of this they could add a few other silence effect minions to cover all the bases.

This would make it so that a lot of planning would go into which silence to actually put into your deck and the correct choice could change from day to day depending on the meta.

I don't think silence is that big of a problem right now although I rather like your first idea. That would definitely be one way to discourage aggro since we're shifting to more of a control meta with Whispers of the Old Gods.
I'm all for nerfing Big Game Hunter though, he has always been a bit of a fun ruiner and makes it so that any minion with an attack over 7 that doesn't have an immediate battlecry/effect won't see play.

What's with Blizzard making random NPCs so powerful. They need to re-balance Illidan or release a corrupted version of him.
    This isn't WoW...
All of the lore is based on it... Dr. Boom some random NPC in Netherstorm shouldn't be more powerful than Illidan Stormrage or Nozdormu

You know I actually see potential for this.  With the buffing weapon if you let's say coin out the silver hand recruits turn 4 then you have immediate value from the weapon. That's 5 2/2's.  The only thing that really kept that weapon from seeing play was that it was too slow.  Multiple turns could go by before it was used up.  But now it can be fully activated the next turn.  All in all that's 10/10 worth of stats over the course of 2 turns.  And if there are any other silver hand buff cards this could potentially work ^^. On a side note I'm just really happy paladin is going back to control <3. I loved paladin before it became cancer :(

Eh, I don't know. Even if you pull off the Sword of Justice + Stand Against Darkness combo, 5 2/2s are really easy to remove. That would be just in time for cards like Consecration, Lightning Storm, Blizzard, Baron Geddon, and Flamestrike.
It would be amazing if they had 3 health though.

Anub'arak might actually see play in that deck too. I wonder if N'Zoth The Corruptor will summon multiple copies of him if he's died more than once?

    One mana too expensive...

I think it will still see play, but I agree that it might be a tad too expensive. It should have 3/4 stats for 4. If we're comparing it to Toshley, he actually had a strong 5/7 body for 6 along with similar effects. It's not like he saw that much play either.

This card is awful. If they wanted to make something like this, it should have been for a class that otherwise doesn't have weapons, not warrior.

They could have made this a priest weapon card just for fun. Garosh doesn't need to grow tentacles for arms, he already has the best weapons in the game.

Another better idea for this would have been to make the weapon 5 mana for a 2/2 but have it deal damage to adjacent minions. similar to Magnataur Alpha and Foe Reaper 4000's effect. It wouldn't be too overpowered, but it could at least see play in that case. As it stands, it's useless, even in fatigue type situations. If there's no Death's Bite replacement, Gorehowl or Arcanite Reaper would still be greatly superior late game weapons.

This card is for Zoo decks. If you didn't manage to kill your opponent by turn 10, you most likely have like 1 or 2 cards in your hand, both worth 3-4 mana max, while the other guy is building a big board, dropping minions to finish you off. Now, you use DOOM!, his minions are gone, your hand is full again and in the next turn you can drop 3-4-5 minions and start hitting him hard again, while he probably dropped his best drops just before your DOOM!.

I agree with you. Reading the other comments, it seems like people are thinking of this as a control card. It would be terrible in Reno (you'd mill yourself) but it could actually be quite good in Zoo.

Oh god, the mana cost. Nothing wrong with it but it can be played at the same turn as Brann Bronzebeard, which means "a heal" of 20 health in a sense. I can definetly see Warrior being able to pull a C'Thun deck of with out any major difficulty.

Also, if enough variasion in C'Thun netural buff cards get released, one could throw Reno Jackson into the mix as well. Goodbye 2 minute games, hello eternity.

Good idea, Brann would have a ton of synergy with all of the C'Thun cultists as well.
