I don't mind how competitive it is (I mean, refined aggro decks will certainly crush this), but it's stupid to spend 2 minutes doing nothing but look at triggers. For that sole reason I predict Shudderwock will suffer the same fate as Yogg-Saron, Hope's End.
I think you don't need to build your deck around this card, you rather build it and then see if this card fits into it. And if you are playing a couple of lifesteals and a couple of deathrattles I'd say it's worth including it.
I completely agree, the HS community is a very crybaby community, whenever something they don't like happens they cry for card packs.
And people need to let the xpac fully reveal and influence the ladder before complaining, Kripp is probably my favorite HS youtuber, but I disagree with him about this
I think kripp is right about forced synergies, cards that totally suck out of a specific deck are bad for the game, why? because crafting decks cost a lot of dust, razakus priest for example uses a lot of epics and legendaries which most of those are useless unless they work in that specific deck.
I think blizzard should've given either baku or genn for free or both.. we have the same reasoning as why C'thun was given for free..
But basically a lot of people watch kripp, and rise their pitchforks accordingly.
Not really. I mean, you can build an odd deck to take advantage of cards with the odd requirement (whatever they are) even without Baku, but it's completely stupid to build a C'Thun deck without C'Thun because the whole strategy is about pumping that specific card.
I'd say neither of those are really staples. Gul'dan is. N'Zoth is used in some versions and Rin sees some play as a win condition against control, but Gul'dan is used in every single warlock deck.
The card is played in almost every single deck no matter the archetype, it's totally bonkers, one of the best cards of the set for sure. Maybe the meta adjusts in the future and it ends up falling a bit out of favor, but it looks like a serious candidate to be nerfed. In that case you are going to get the full dust back, so I'd say you can safely craft it and you won't regret it.

Played a few games with your deck and it looks powerful but I'm still not sold.
What could I add to replace Greedy Sprite? I never liked that card and I hate when it's pulled with Master Oakheart or Oaken Summons.

What if you get Spiritsinger Umbra from Oaken Summons sooner than expected? That seems awful.
Other than that, I'm liking the deck and I think it has potential.

Opened 62 packs, got Houndmaster Shaw, Azalina Soulthief, Darius Crowley, Genn Greymane and a golden Face Collector. Not amazing but better than other times, I'm happy about it.
The free legendary was Lady in White, which is by far the one I'm most excited about.

About 64 or 65 (57-58 from gold, plus 7 from promotions). Not planning on spending money on this set.
After that, a couple of weeks of arena, arena, arena... before starting to build decks.

Yeah, you missed Fungal Enchanter.

The set's logo looks a bit weird, doesn't it?

It says in the article we're getting the new expansion on april 30th... Is that already known?

It's funny you say that because I face AN AWFUL LOT OF MAGES. A lot of dude paladins too.
Like others said before, there have been worse times. Remember the pirate-jade-Reno era?

What will happen with the "play X Enrage cards" quest?
