For a gamer, racing and fighting games are great as they are easy to pick up and play a couple of quick games, require a lot of attention and smoking is impossible while playing.

    Ok, but seriously.
I'm Trying to quit right now and I just take it reeeal slow. Never worked out for me if I quit spontaneously. Right now 3 cigs is my max (down from 10 last year). Maybe I get to quit next year. Good luck (to us both) :)

Beast Druid already has enough 5-drops (Stranglethorn, Druid of the Claw and sometimes Azure Drake). A solid 4-Drop Beast would have been better.

I'm convinced that Buzzard will be atleast a one-of in nearly every Hunter deck (except for Secret or Face Hunter).

posted a message on Reynad is Right : lack of class identity

Okay, I know HS is not WoW, but classes have different specializations, which is clearly visible in HS, too. Spell/Maly/Token resembles Balance Druid, that relies solely on Spells (well, not on Giants and I'm pretty sure Malygos wouldn't help them either, but that's just a card game thing I guess..), while Beast Druid is Feral from WoW. Tranforming into beasts and shit.
What I want to say is, identities and themes from the early days of HS being shared/copied over to other classes isn't bad. And even if a theme is used for more than one class, the decks can still play and feel very differently. I personally would say that Spell/Maly/Token Druid and Mage (whether it is Freeze, Tempo, Fatigue..) aren't even remotely close to one another playstyle-wise.
I also think, that Team 5 doesn't want to limit it's own design space, they sure have alot of fun coming up with all those cards. Not being able to show your players "that" card because it doesn't fit the class must be frustating.

I understand, balancing would be way easier, but a restriction to 1-2 archetypes for every class because of their identity would feel really bad, at least for me. I love trying out new themes and even archetypes for classes, especially after new expansions.

posted a message on New Hunter Card - Rat Pack

    This card is busted..

Could Starving Buzzard make a comeback with all these sticky minions that summon beasts? You could nearly guarantee 1-2 cards from it.

Kindly Grandmother (1), Infested Wolf (2), Savannah Highmane (2), Unleash the Hounds (x), Rat Pack (2-x) and N'Zoth the Corruptor (a lot). Maybe even Princess Huhuran. And Starving Buzzard could also justify running a one of Piranha Launcher.

posted a message on New Paladin Card - Smuggler's Run

So is Blizzard trying to push minion-only kind of decks for Paladin? Grimestreet Outfitter, Grimestreet Enforcer and this. Not my favorite kind of gamestyle, but if it brings back old Midrange Paladin, count me in.

posted a message on I feel like Mage is the most stale class in the game right now
    Quote from Morkimus >>

The last "interesting" card I've seen in mage was probably Echo of Medivh, and it still saddens me that it never found a very stable place for itself.

Don't know if you play Wild, but I use 1 Echo in my N'Zoth Fatigue List. Most of the time it copies N'Zoth + summoned minion and sometimes I use it with Brann and Healbot (needs one emperor tick).

posted a message on The current Discover mechanic is flawed

Not in the mood to write alot, so I won't go into much detail..

Discover in general is (atleast in my opinion) a fun, balanced and interesting mechanic that opens up a lot of possibilities and strategies. It doesn't need any improvement, but I see no problem in expanding the Discover mechanic. I really like your ideas and there are many more to think of just by brainstorming 1-2 minutes.
Especially Control decks could benefit a lot from different kinds of Discover cards. Ivory Knight and your Druid card are a good example for this. I would really like to see alot more High-Value Discover cards which can turn around board states, Life/Armor difference, Card Advantage etc., just to encourage a "back-and-forth" (don't know how to call it exactly) kind of gameplay, that is a lot more fun, than knowing that you've lost after turn 3.

posted a message on Malygos + Barnes Mage deck..

I tried making a deck with Malygos and Archmage Antonidas. Problem are 2-Drops (only Frostbolt and Arcane Explosion) and draw (only Arcane Intellect and Cabalists Tome, which doesn't really draw cards). Maybe if Mage get's a good 2 Mana spell next expansion you could try it.

A deck like Infirc's (one post above me) would be the only viable solution I think.

posted a message on Malygos + Barnes Mage deck..

Barnes Battlecry only works when a minion is in your deck, so it's pretty inconsistent.

Maybe if you play Malygos AND Archmage Antonidas (like Y'Shaarj Hunter plays 1 Savannah Highmane) you can guarantee Value from Barnes. Still not 100% consistent, but maybe at least playable.

posted a message on What would happen if this card was real?

A new meta where everyone tries to build the worst deck he can think of.

    EDIT: Ok second try..

It's a 7 Drop, so your deck has to be at least mediocre or you won't survive until turn 7. Additionally you still have to deal with the boardstate and/or low health.
I can't think of a deck right now, which could effectively use this card. OP, did you have any ideas for decks when making this card?

Lol, ignore this... i wish i could read.

posted a message on Worst spell in game, Shatter or Purify?

I think shatter is a bit better than purify. You definitely would not put it in your deck, but Control Mage(Frost Nova, Blizzard, Frostbolt) getting Shatter out of Babbling Book or Cabalists Tome is pretty good.

No more Elise, Reno, Brann, Ethereal Conjurer, Jeweled Scarab, Elemental Destruction :'(

And I'm pretty scared about Priest in Wild. With Entomb gone in Standard, Blizzard will release OP Anti-Aggro tool or a new crazy Control card.
Imagine Priest with Lightbomb, Entomb, Zombie Chow, Deathlord and new cards after the rotation hits. I hope Blizzard has some interest in balancing  Wild (or at least not letting it get out of control).

No, they don't. They stated many times that some cards are ok, because they will rotate out and that's why they nerf only classic cards. So this clearly implies wild is MEANT to be completely out of control. Doesn't matter as op something is as long as it is in wild. This is reality, stated by them themselves.
Ok good to know, thanks. But I don't think they want a whole gamemode to be dominated by 1 super-op deck.. even if it is "only" Wild.
