I think this is an absolutely great card, but why isn't it a Beast? D: It would actually make sense from a lore perspective and Control Hunter/Beast Druid would love it.
Blizzard may as well have just deleted Magma Rager.
Dev 1: "What if we deliberately go out of our way to waste time/resources making Magma Rager completely worthless for no reason instead of making it a niche card?"
Dev 2: "James, that's excellent thinking, Have a promotion."
Really surprised and disappointed to see people are OK with this, but opinions are opinions I suppose.
Obviously card games are inherently RNG-based, but that's an unavoidable aspect of the genre. However, flooding the game with multiple RNG cards is completely avoidable. Why add RNG to a game that's already saturated with it?
I like RNG. It improves my personal gameplay experience. They are releasing an expansion with considerable amounts of RNG in it. This makes me very happy. If I could, I would pat them on the back, and hand out promotions to all of them.
Why do you like RNG?
How can you enjoy winning/losing just because you got lucky/unlucky? Card games are meant to be about strategy and skill, not rolling dice all over the place.

Cost should be increased to 7 or 8 Mana at the very least.

Just learned the hard way that you should never play this card against a Shaman...
Turn 2:
- I play The Coin + Innervate -> Bittertide Hydra.
- Shaman freezes it with Frost Shock.
Turn 3:
- Shaman gets a Healing Totem from Totemic Call.
Turn 4:
- I buff my Hydra with Mark of the Wild (10/9) and attack his face.
- Shaman plays Lotus Illusionist.
Turn 5:
- Shaman uses Volcano.
- My hydra and his totem soak up enough damage that his Illusionist survives.
- Shaman attacks my face directly (27 + 3).

Why has no one mentioned Djinni of Zephyrs? Dat potential value, my gad.

Not only would it make more sense, considering the card's name, but it would also make its cost actually appropriate.
Get it together, Blizzard.

Inspired by the first boss in Magister's Terrace and Felblood Elves/Wretched.
- The targeted minion would end up with 0 Attack because Selin would literally drain all of its power.
- He'd have 0 Attack on his own because Felbloods get their power through feeding, making them a literal example of "feast or famine".
Summon
My hunger knows no bounds!
Attack
Enough distractions!

"GvG isn't all about RNG."
