So, I tried the decklist for like 30+ games, and I must say I found it sorta unexpected. I won most of the games and the those who I didn't were the ones missing [card]Emperor Thaurissan[/card], Malygos or [card]Prophet Velen ([/card]; or I drawn them too late; extreme agroish decklist add some more loses to that too. Btw, I replaced the pack of [card]Shadowform[/card] for another PW:S and Wild Pyro, because I believe they help more to let you live until the otk turn. The deck have enough burst already to really need [card]Shadowform[/card] for face damage purposes; and for clear board purposes it's not very efficient as you may know. Most of the time against non control decks it can be a liability or a dead card in hand. The healing hero power (Lesser Heal) however can let you live another turn, wich means another draw, and probably another attack, stretching the game is better than trying to rush it, I believe it's the most significant reason to not replace your hero power. Nice and fun deck with a reasonable win %. Would like to see for updates if they are or will be.
Hi, I really never got hooked with the Shadowform Priest, I think the hero power is very important in every stage of the game, even more when you are trying to survive to reach late game.
Yeah, I know about Prêtre Bombe de lumière, I just wanted people to understand that is a priest deck from the title :) Thanks for the feedback.
Hi Hs Community, first thread here. I'm looking for suggestions/opinions/advices about this topic. Wondering which decks are preferable for the first match, and the follow ups not knowing at all the meta you expect nor the archetypes that will be. I've been doing some research watching some tournaments on twitch and I have a vague idea of how this might work, anyhow I really want to hear some opinions. Also I wish to discuss about the amount and type of tech cards you guys would include in this kind of event.
Aggro decks are needed to create a healthy meta. If all the decks were control, combo or midrange it will be boring at some point. Aggro decks have their own way to be and it's absurd to rage about their existance when the game itself gives you such an enjoyable diversity. There are just different types of decks, deal with it.
I'll post my deck too. Don't have much time to play, but right now I'm climbing quite easily (and slow, cause you tend to go for long games :D) with it (rank 8 at this moment). I've managed to get to about rank 3 some past seasons with similar pre-GvG Warrior decks, but that's always the last days of the month so I never have time to try to reach legend, but if you learn how to correctly use this archetype you can get a winning percentage above 50% games with no problem (and I think I get quite higher ratios, but don't have data/results to analyze it :3).
I had to -1 Brawl to add 1x Crush, and so far I really like the results, but sometimes I admit you can miss the wipe out, so you can swap that cards as you prefer :D
I really don't know why Coldlight Oracle could be a good replace for Acolyte of Pain , I'd never want to give draws to my opponent ( except for a mine >:D ).
I believe Iron Juicy is a good card in a CW deck, but some people don't see him this way. I mean, perhaps people tend to unvervalued it because mostly there is no inmediate result as it's cast;, and when the game is lost before the mine comes that makes IJ look as the bad guy who did nothing to help win the game D:<. Jugg needs you to extend the game for him to do his job. The mine would not explode in every game but in those games who will we all be glad with him.
TL; DR: It's a love/hate relationship.
I'm currently using this deck, feel free to destroy it with rage comments.
People, do yourselves a favor and call it Mid-range hunter instead of Control hunter. Control hunter is never gonna happen. Not all classes can afford to make a control-ish deck.
