Blizzard admitting they don't care about wild.

Of course they don't care about Wild.. think about it, how many cards continually getting added into the wild pool. Trying to moderate the standard meta is hard enough, try doing that but add 1000 more cards in the mix... impossible. Wild is just a place for people still wanting to live in previous meta's using previous decks.

Why the F*ck is every one playing brainless shit like Zoolock OTK warrior and Midrange Hunter on Day f*ucking 1 of the Season ? It makes absolutely no sense. On week 1 you should play all the fun decks and at the last day of the season you can maybe, just maybe play 1 game with your brainless shit. I hate when people just use netdecks like cant you try your own decks for a change sometimes. Maybe not cause people are afraid that their own decks sucks. I always play with my own decks its a lot more fun.........................

     looks like you're having fun....

Play for 8-10 turns mainly controlling the board and dealing face damage - opponent drops Yogg - end up in some unwinnable board state - anyone who plays that card should just remove their own fucking balls off with a rusty, blunt spoon.

Queue into token Shaman - draw okay and compete but die by turn 7 anyway because: broken Shaman cards - anybody playing Shaman decks deserves rope and disrespect for the rest of their fuvking lives - I guess we know where all the cunt Secret Paladin players went to.

This meta is so stale and boring: Yogg Druid? Seriously how can you have fun playing that shit? Control warrior with ravaging ghoul and double brawl? I've seen your boring netdeck literally 100 times this season. Face Shaman? Evolve Shaman? Token Shaman? The control Shaman from reddit? Yawn - you deserve no respect - your win rate and rank is irrelevant.

I'm so salty I gave up after rank 10 with my homebrew deck - just playing fun homebrew decks now and roping and BM netdeckers to slow their end of season climb. I don't care whether I win or lose now it's funny watching people lose their shit because they have no idea what I'm running.

robing and BM 'net deckers'. wow bro. Your really are a good contribution to the hearthstone community. well done

    Quote from GoldExperience >>

I wish I could start saving gold to the next adventure, but I'm still missing a lot of cards such as Shield Slam, Gorehowl, Ice Block, Alexstrasza, Edwin VanCleef and Leeroy Jenkins, so I am opening lots of Classic Packs hoping I find them or save enough dust to craft them.

I'm in the same boat, I'm still missing so many epic classic cards, plus legendaries. So it makes it hard to try and save coins over buying classic packs. Way better to just spend the money buying the next adventure most probably

posted a message on Understanding and beating the midrange hunter

So this matchup is very common, and one that I feel I am unfavored (apart from when I run miracle rouge).

I have been using warrior variations (dragon, midrange pirate) and paladin variations (murloc OTK and midrange pally).

I usually go for the trades, trading to get rid of their beasts and trying to keep board contro. But trading almost feels like it is in their favour. they can use cheap spells to remove minions, whilst putting down sticky minions like infested wolf and highmane. Then they follow up with insane burst and the 8 mana call of the doctor.

Is it right to trade for their highmane and other minions? Should I be more aggressive in my approach to the matchup? Is it usually just a case of 'if they get their doctor 8 off it's basically GG'?

If there are any guides on this matchup please let me know. Cheers

posted a message on What's your opinion on otk decks?
    Quote from shrvaaan >>

Personally I feel otk decks such as worgen warrior, malygos rogue, freeze mage etc. are the most cancerous decks period. Even worse than face decks. At least with aggro decks you can gain control with taunts, board clears etc. But these otk decks are just draw draw and more draw.It doesn't matter what you are playing. Playing aggro works sometimes but they usually keep control with removals and stalls. Everytime I see these decks I just feel like autoconceding but play anyways only to be proven right in the first place. Hopefully with emperor thaurissan leaving with the next expansion things will be better. Your thoughts guys and gals??

Are you off your chops mate ??? OTK more cancerous than aggro brain dead decks.
Every deck in hearthstone requires some level of skill, if you don't have much skill it's still ok, you will just be playing in the same ranks as this guy. OTK decks that currently exist in Hearthstone are completely FINE. Heres why:
    1. They are hard to play. On the opposing end of an OTK you may feel like that opponent basically just waited until their combo pieces arrived, but of course it's not like that. There are many micro decisions made throughout the turns to get to that late stage of the game, micro decisions that directly affect your percentage of chance to win the game. There are ALOT of decks in hearthstone that are basically self guided. You just drop minions on curve and pressure the opponent. It might feel like games verse secret paladin, dragon warrior, and aggro shaman are 'more interactive' but for fuck sake if hearthstone was only about those kind of decks, it would not be as fun as it is.
Any one with half an eye and 2 fingers can take aggro shaman to rank 5.
    2. OTK decks can be countered. If a meta turns into a specific OTK deck being over played - the counter decks will pop up just as fast. However, most OTK decks do not require a counter simply because they are not so powerful that every man and his dick are playing them.
It's going to be sad to see the great Emperor leave Standard mode, that single card has allowed so many different decks to be viable.
Please go get yourself a tissue and enjoy your face vs face matchups that it seems you like so much.
And also, if OTK really has rubbed you up the wrong way, do something about it. Learn about the OTK decks and see what you need to do to counter them. Usually it will just be specific decisions you make during the game that will put them in a worse position. Whether that be holding onto specific cards for the right time, or pressuring them too much, or what ever. Where there is a will there is a way.

posted a message on How to become better?

There's a thread for posts like this...

the fact that you are sitting in rank 16 has nothing at all to do with Miracle rouge, and everything to do with how you are playing the deck.
Want to become better? watch pro's play the deck, and before they make plays ask yourself what you would do in that situation. I have gotten legend two seasons in a row using miracle rouge. (once on a winstreak from rank 3 to legend), and the meta has not shifted in such a crazy state to negate that achievement. Keep trying mate.

I'm pretty sure Ben Brode didn't mean creating a reno priest when he made those comments.. thinning out a control priest so much so just to include Reno? when half of priest's cards heal the hero? I don't even need to try this deck to know it would get destroyed by aggro, let alone midrange.
