Turn 3: It wouldn't be that bad to play Demolisher on turn 3, if it hits the egg you could just clear it with Demolisher. Usually you want to develop demolisher if you can protect it.
Turn 4: At this point you are too far behind so you can't just hold the Holy Champion. In this situation you want your opponent to do the trades for you until you can get a good turn to play Shadowflame to come back into the game.
Turn 6: Here I would play Defias (why Defias because playing Drakonid would make your opponent trade because of Dragon Fire Potion and a 5/7 body is better since it would force the Backroom Bounce to trade) and hope that my opponent goes face. If he trades it would accomplish pretty much the same thing as Bomb Squad, if he doesn't you can start a comeback with Shadowflame.
In the end your opponent had an insane start and playing Demolisher at turn 3 wouldn't matter in the end.
Yeah, I totally forgot that zoobot would give the whelp +1 ATK, that's why I overlooked that play. That play would save the coin and give me more options the following turns.
Thank you for your replies! I need to play slower next time!
If I had played Tomb Spider on turn 4, my opponent would probably just used Truesilver Champion to kill it, but the question is would he play the Kings the following turn? If he does I coin out Entomb, and I could get maybe get back in the game.
But if he doesn't play Kings and just drops a 5 drop I am too far behind to catch up at that point.
This is just lazy from blizzard. This will certainly reduce the fun of arena for me. Making those bad cards work when you are forced to pick them is what makes arena a fun and unpredictable experience.
A better solution would be to just introduce new rarities for cards in arena (e. g. Flamestrike could be epic or rare, making Purify epic).

Was it a mistake to coin out Kodo?

Priest vs Paladin
1
Played one run with Shaman, got 2 legendaries and went 12-2. I faced some pre standard patch decks, which felt far weaker than the standard decks.
1
Finished a Mage arena run with 12-0 that had Maexxna, Archmage Antonidas and Kel'Thuzad.
2
Great card, designed for a control shaman deck, but too bad that this will make midrange Shaman even better.
