    Possible uses for Vargoth here are:

    • Oaken Summons shenanigans, e.g: use Oaken Summons -> get Vargoth summoned -> at the end of the turn he casts Oaken Summons and summons Ironwood Golem. I understand that this is a big high-roll, but potentially getting 2/6 + 3/6 taunt + 12 armor for 4 mana is good.
    • Another use is: Vargoth + Stampending Roar or Vargoth + Witching Hour
    • Also if the enemy is in fatigue or at 10 cards: Vargoth + Naturalize

    P.S. I have tried today a variation of this deck (with extra golem and cube instead of Vargoth and 2nd Devilssaur, since I don't have them). Looks good if you start with Biology Project on turn 1 and follow-up with 4-mana stuff on next turn. BUT with Biology Project coupled with Stampending Roar there is a big problem with card starvation if you don't draw into psychmelons. So I am thinking of substituting Stampending Roars with 1 Ultimate Infestation and Mechanical Welp.

    Weird card...

    • But it can win you the game if the opponent mechathun priest gets a Snowfury Giant. Discovering Demonic Project near the end when they have only combo pieces, could screw them as well (and no matter who gets it).
    • Also it increases the hand size. So it can be used to try and burn opponent's card on draw.
    • There is also the synergy with cards that have hand-related effects, like Mountain and Clockwork Giants, Bewitched Guardian, Brainstormer, Meteorologist, Astromancer, Goblin Sapper, etc. Or you could discover a dragon in order to enable some dragon-related battlecry.
    • Also if you get a minion, you might put it on the board for free with Princess Talanji.

    Not to mention that same card can have different value in different decks. Like you are playing vs Odd Paladin and discovering two Volcanos. Or Defile, Spirit Lash, Volcanic Potion, or any other spell that damages all minions.

    Actually yes. Raptor is better against brawl and any AoEs that deal 3+ damage. In other cases Pantry should be a not worse or even better substitute as it's an extra body to buff.
