Mech Priest with that spell that copies a minion for 3 mana. All you need to do is stick a mech and assemble 3 Mechwarpers and Snip Snap.

The earliest you can OTK is turn 4 with coin. It requires 4 combo pieces so it's not very likely to happen early game but it's cool to have that raw power.

Shadow Visions can help with consistency as long as your spell count is low. You'll simply tutor for that copy spell every time.

Good call, but a question arises which priest combo deck will the better - Sn1p-Sn4p, APM (not the Topsy Turvy version, but the Holy Smite one) or Gallery.

    Quote from Ilfirinor >>

Ok, they forgot about Reckless Experimenter when they announced their new shiny mech, and they had to nerf the old card along with releasing it.

But they also forgot about Corpse Widow, which does the same thing but 2 turns later and as a 3 cards combo with Mechwarper. Looks like they didn't think out that new mech well, after all.

The devs said, that they will do something about Mechwarper, if this combo becomes problematic in wild.

    Hey Folks,

After the announcement of the Rise of the Mech update, we became aware of an interaction between SN1P-SN4P and Reckless Experimenter that allows for an early-game infinite damage combo in Priest. As a result of this, we’ve opted to make a change to Reckless Experimenter to go along with the 14.4 patch (scheduled to release June 3) so this combo is no longer possible. We’re also aware of some interactions that SN1P-SN4P creates in Wild when played alongside multiple copies of Mechwarper. We’ll be keeping a close eye on how that plays out over the following weeks.

Even though Chris Sierra didn't meantion Corpse Widow in his reddit post, the devs might be aware of the beast's existence, but consider the 2/3 mech to be problematic. If you ask me, no mech hunter would add Corpse Widows to its deck, because the minion is really expensive and useless in almost all other scenarios (mech hunter is an aggro deck after all and its win-condition is overwhelming the opponent with buffed minions as quick as possible). Unlike priest hunters can't fetch deathrattles, so pulling off the combo wouldn't be that consistent. Not to mention, one of the class's weaknesses is drawing cards.

I could see a mid-range hybrid deck popping up next week - consisting of some mechs and many deathrattle minions - but we need to see how viable it will turn out to be.

Yeah same here. I guess they deem Mage strong enough to keep Warrior in check. Maybe Druid too.

I'll surely make another Bingo thread for the next expansion!

Or maybe for the next patch, if there is such at the end of June/start of July. In RR we received two nerf patches - in the first one druids got the nerf bat and in the second one hunters and paladins were affected. So things might not be over yet.

But I agree with RevenantSC - your bingo was fun. gj

posted a message on How to guarantee Sn1p Sn4p will be fine without any nerf or change to the card...
    Quote from scorpyon >>

Its so typical of T5 to nerf the wrong card every time. Instead of fixing the new problematic card that this is, they instead destroy Mecathun Wild Priest for no reason. Sigh...

It's still the same. Only deathrattle minions, that cost 3 or less are affected by this change.

    Here are my guesses:

Sap (to 3 mana) [new cards will most likely dodge the nerf bat]
    Raiding Party
    (to 4 mana)
Preparation (cost reduction decreased to 2 mana)
    Omega Devastator (Mech tag removed)
Brawl (6 mana) [I don't think it should be nerfed, but it might be a valid candidate]

    Barnes (to 5 mana)
No nerf to Bloodbloom YET, because the devs would want to gather more data

    Almost, almost. :P

I thought that warrior will get nerfed too and that the devs would get influenced by the community's outcry. This is why I added Brawl in my first post, although I personally think it's fine. I knew that I should have included EVIL Miscreant there as well, but I didn't expect new cards to be touched. I thought the devs would do the same to Sap as they did to Hunter's Mark.

People are already aware of this combo, but despite this fact it's not that popular. When I played competitively in wild before, I rarely faced it. Only thrice and I managed to win thanks to Psychic Scream.

Inb4 why aren't people discussing the potential nerf to mech hunter in wild?

Yes, I know that Chris Sierra mentions the possibility of nerfing Mechwarper only if the Sn1p-Sn4p interaction becomes problematic there, but this wouldn't be the only combo that will get affected. IF the devs give that mech the Experimenter treatment, then hunters wouldn't be able to spam 0-cost mechs on turn 3 (or on 2 with The Coin) anymore. So not only fun decks would get affected by this, but also ladder ones.

I'm baffled by this as much as you are. I guess some people are right, that the devs don't test all possible interactions when implementing new cards.

Can't wait to possibly have my Spectral Pillager Rogue OTK (which is not problematic at all in wild) to potentially be killed due to them nerfing Mechwarper if the dumb new mech in town happens to get abused upon released.

But hey better to nerf old cards that haven't caused issues in the game just to create and release a new card that may cause issues down the line.

    Like our beloved Juicy Psychmelon.

Only when I have to find the most optimal play and I'm playing serious in the higher ranks. Or in arena and in a brawliseum, cuz' I invest gold there. I don't get triggered by emotes, I find this kind of behaviour childish.

[edit] Oh yeah, sometimes I have connection issues and the rope is unintentional.

@Kovachut I made the Mutant with the fact both of those spells are not easily obtained in mind. I made it so there’s a reward for obtaining one of those spells, and gave it high Health so you can actually make use of the effect, but I guess I didn’t account for the case you already have a petal/banana in hand. I wonder if it’s ok to raise the cost now?

As for Audrey, it’s dangerous to create a Kazakus-type effect and have it be interesting instead of just needlessly overwhelming. I think Blizzard itself didn’t nail the concept entirely with Kazakus, but maybe that’s just me.

I think it would be much better if there was only one kind of sprout. Maybe the sprout could be a way to generate a new Audrey? Just random thoughts. That would make it much more interesting and elegant than banana smuggler IMO

P.S. the Quest is actually to kill using only Razorpetals, not cast them, making it harder. I see what you mean about creativity though (The Mutant was more creativity-focused, so I wanted to make up for it with a more gameplay-focused card. Something similar to Unite the Murlocs, if you will)

P.P.S. I know that’s strictly up to taste and doesn’t affect much, but I don’t really dig Audrey’s name. I feel like “Audrey” is too much of a generic name for something so alien (as opposed to a name like “Sherazin”), and I don’t really get the “Second Horror” part. Maybe “Razorqueen Zhesh” or something like that?

    1) I see. The problem is, that obtaining a Razorpetal is super easy (you can use either a Lasher or a Volley) and afterwards the plant goes out of control. Anyway, of course it's ok to make a change in the submission thread (by raising the cost to 5). This is considered a minor one and it's perfectly fine.

    2) and 3) I guess you are right. Your suggestion about sprouts summoning Audrey is actually very good. I might consider it, if I can't come up with anything better for my first idea.

    4) Yeah, I understood that the quest stated "use razorpetals to kill minions". I just decided to be short in my explanation. But still, at its current version you could cast a Volley and obtain the two needed petals immediately. You just have to make sure that enemy minions die to one damage or two, if you use Thalnos.

    5) Hmm, you could be right, though I wanted to make a reference to the famous Venus fly-trap monster.

Anyway, thanks for your feedback. I appreciate it.

I'd rather you didn't submit the Mutant, because it's OP in rogue. You probably saw Lyra the Sunshard and you said to yourself, that cycling spells is fine, since Blizzard did it before you. But Lyra can also generate very expensive and situational ones, which can be cast once per turn. This isn't the case with mutant. Since both the petals and the bananas are cheap, you can easily combine them with combo cards (Edwin VanCleef) or Gadgetzan Auctioneer. Imho you should increase the cost of the plant by 1.

Despite what I said above, I guess that this was the best card you could submit. Tales from the Forest is easy to complete. This could be fixed by increasing the number of cast Razorpetals by one or two, but the reward doesn't seem that interesting. Strong, yes, but not really creative. Flying Monkey is the fairest from them all, however there aren't many banana generators in the game currently and your minion seems kinda weak.

I personally think, that the "deal 1 damage" part can be left out. Everyone else does it and this is a fan design comp after all. This change will make your card visually better.

Anyway with "your Razorpetals are pellets now" I wanted to say how ALL copies of the 1-mana rogue spell will turn into the pellet one - both old and new. I thought about using the words "replace" or "transform" to sound clearer, but then people would have misinterpreted them and would have expected only the petals in their hand to change. I wanted to explain how the lashers and the volleys would also give you Pellets and that you wouldn't need to play the Petal-generators first, in order to benefit from Flowet's effect. And the reason why I wasn't more specific in the card text was, you guessed it, it took too much text space and the card description was unreadable.

Alright, I got your feedback and I will create the Banana Smuggler, but I really want to redesign Audrey. Some of you think, that she's too complicated, but imho she's not more than Kazakus and his potions. I just wanted to find a new usage for the Razorpetals and not stick to the typical "deal 1 damage to a target" effect. That's SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUPER boring. The idea of creating units by using living material sounded original and interesting to me. I will try to make a more simple design of that plant, but I'm not ditching it just yet.

Here's what I have so far:

It's a nice one. It offers some synergies with Gadgetzan Auctioneer, so it's solid.  Boss Harambo is also a good pick.
