Rogue quest. Even if it doesn't work out, it's gonna be crazy.

Also, will be tempted to craft Sherazin, Corpse Flower, just to see what happens when you use an Unearthed Raptor on it in Wild.

OK, this looks hilarious! I actually have a hand-buff mech pali deck now that isn't too bad. (It's not too good, mind you, but it wins enough to retain the fun.)

I think this is a super funny idea.

I think you are wildly optimistic about Volcano. The card costs 5 mana!

Also, I think there's no way Mimic Pod doesn't see play. I have no idea if the Rogue quest gets into the meta at all, but this card seems like it would be good in almost any Rogue deck. It's essentially an Arcane Intellect, but better for combo decks. (Worse in other decks, of course.)

posted a message on HandBuffadin Will be The savior of the new Meta
    Quote from KitsuneRTC >>

Everyone keeps talking about Jade and aggro and how they will affect the next meta. The truth is I actually see Handbuffadin being a strong counter to Jade. If pally can get tons of buffs on their cards and drop them against jade that lacks hard removal you can tend to overwhelm them. Currently C'thun lists are actually very strong against jade druid because they tend not to be able to handle c'thun (and since they are losing mulch and raven idol to search mulch they will lack efficient ways to get rid of huge targets). Not to mention the new pally legendary is a hard counter to jades late game and if you manage to buff tirion/lightlord/etc to 10+ stats they will tend to struggler immensely with removing them.

However, handbuffadin's current issue in the meta is that its not early game tanky enough to deal with aggro. With the addition of tar creeper and the 4 mana divine taz-dingo I see the potential for a good stun deck.

But hand-buff Paladin is the deck with no hard removal -you take it out to run all minions.
However, the new Tar Creeper looks VERY strong in hand-buff pali.

Here's my try at one of these:

    Ungoro Hand Bounce Rogue Concept
Export to BBCode Export to Cockatrice Export to MarkDown Export to Html Clone this deck
    Minion (16) Ability (14)
    Loading Collection

The goal is to have it play like Miracle, more or less, with two options win conditions: bounce a 5/5 charger a few times or build a board with 5/5 through either Violet Teacher or Moroes.

I tried to get a doomsayer or two in here, but I couldn't find the space. Given the numbers, I think this deck should get the combo often enough, but I'm not sure the meta will be slow enough to allow it to.

Lastly, I think every "miracle" version of this deck is going to mulligan away the quest. I think you just really really want removal for the early game, and you might not even know which minion is gonna be your "bounce 4 times" choice yet. Why not wait until you can do it in one turn? Also, the quest spell has spell synergy for card draw with auctioneer and could also re-activate your Corpse Flower.

I would cut moroes as a win condition and replace him with onyxia. It's one for one and onyxia is way faster, giving you 6 5/5s on an empty board...
It's a fair point. However Moroes is MUCH cheaper. This means you can play him with removal, unlike Onyxia. It also means you could play him on the same turn as the spell itself. (Remember the quest reward costs 5 mana.)

posted a message on New Card - Fire Fly

I'm confused as to why people are voting this card so low. I think it's actually extremely strong!

Living Roots is a must-play in Druid, because it's good on turn one and it's good in the late game. I think this card is very similar for any elemental-themed deck. Early game, two 1/2s on turn 2 is actually not bad. Further, late game you can save the token for an elemental combo. Also, since the Elemental theme is basically Curvestone, having a 1-mana card to balance out your curve any given turn is going to be key.

I see this as a must-play in any Elemental deck. I don't know if those will be strong, but, if they are, I predict we see a TON of this card in the next season.

    posted a message on S36 #2 L - Dragon Warrior (71% WR)

I tried a few alternatives, as I don't have Deathwing. I haven't played enough games yet to know if it's working, but the best for me so far has been replacing Deathwing with one Faerie Dragon. I know it sounds crazy because the little one doesn't do the same thing at all. However, it does give you an alternate early game approach against Jade druid, who often don't have many minions early and cannot Wrath it. It's also an activator.

Obviously, it's not at all an ideal replacement, but it might be better than Gromm plus an activator. That just seems to change the deck a bit too much.

Weasel Tunneler!! It's purely a meme card, and it was bugged on release so you cannot even use it for that.

I would say Edwin. Not really a replacement, but a good card to slot in anyways.

Sorry, but I disagree. First, Maly is not your only win condition against dragon priest. The matchup is easy enough that you can win without him. Also, dragon priest has almost no way to remove him, as most don't run Entomb and they will have no minions left to throw into him after you've cleared the board.

As I've hit higher ranks, I'm no longer 100% against Dragon priest, but I'm still 10 wins with 2 losses -and in both losses my opponent had crazy good luck.

I'm really curious about your Bully suggestion. Can you post your win rates to see how it's working out?

I've already subbed in Edwin for a Coin, as, I agree that it's helpful in certain matchups -especially Pirate Warrior and Shaman. I literally went 7 games in a row yesterday that were only Shaman or Pirate Warrior. (Shoot me in the face!)

My win rate against Shaman is 51% and against Warrior is a lowly 35%. In your experience, does Bully help out with those?

Just wanted to add my support to this great, great deck list. Currently at about 62% win rate.

I made one replacement: took out one Counterfeit Coin and put in Edwin. I agree that he doesn't totally fit with this deck, but he helps immensely against aggro Shaman, and even more against Face Pirate Warrior. Warrior is still a terrible matchup, but he makes it more tolerable.
