I feel like the reason this card isn't talked about a whole lot is just because it gets worse the better you are. What I mean by this is that the better you are at mapping out your opponent's hand, the more useless this card is to run. Don't get me wrong it's real good when it transforms into something strong, but he's just too random to really be useful for that. The card can be great if you don't know what the opponent is playing, but typically you have a good idea of what your opponent is using and what is probably in their hand by like turn 6-7.

I don't have something witty about this deck, I just like it because Malygos is fun.
I love the design and always think it should be great - info on your opponents hand and the chance to pick a card from their deck. If Control Priest was in a better place, it would be solid. Currently, it isn’t though.
You also could have just Death gripped regardless of whether he has malygos in hand or not. Having it be in hand or in the deck literally doesn't impact anything. It's not like you weren't going to play the card that could easily steal one of the game winning minions from his deck just because he had a malygos in your hand.
Edit: Do you mean he transformed into the enemy's death grip and then you stole it or you had a death grip in your hand and chameleos transformed into all the other cards?
Don't feel like spending dust on it but I would quite like to have it. I hope I pull it soon because i won't craft it until Priest is good again as a whole.
Control Priest is actually in a better spot than it was at the end of Witchwood meta wise. It has good matchups against a ton of things and most of its bad matchups aren't unwinnable, just not favored. The problem is the deck has 0 new cards to play from boomsday and in some matchups it's just a worse Malygos Druid, but it does better against some aggro stuff like Zoolock.

Yes, Chamaleos copied death grip from the druid, I was like 80% sure he didn't have in hand otherwise I would NOT use it and wait for armor card, I have won few game vs maly druid because of Branching Paths otherwise you get oneshot ;)
Since this little guy doesn't get talked much if you're a pure control priest player I strongly suggest you to craft one.
Few days ago I found him on Sindragosa (As priest, hue) vs a Big spell mage and crafted one immediately after the game.
The card is so strong with all the information he give us you can adapt the match much better.
Nice impulse control... I guess?
I exist, I think.

I have a golden copy.... Never used it yet. Then again, I barely touch Priest.
My Last game vs Malygos Druid Chameleos-> Death Grip -> Malygos since I knew he didn't got in hand.
He's pulling this kind of moment regularly.
