If u watched Amaz stream u would know . Last 2 week he wants to start a new tournament called ATLC2 , He kept complaining about not getting enough sponsor to host the event . So he started a ATLC2 kickstarter campaign by reaching 500,000 USD . From this point on its fishy he keep promoting the so called Donation in the name of supporting hearthstone tournament at his stream . Than out of the sudden he said he is depressed and cancelled the kickstarter campaign but the strange thing is the tournament is still continuing with no sponsorship . So the main point is . ATLC2 is going to be hosted no matter what (might be sponsored by blizzard ) But amaz wanted more money so he planned the kickstarter campaign where people donate money . If he the goal reached 500,000 USD he can caimed all the money for himself by donating the remaining amounts to reach the goal .
He got 60k viewers yesterday even tough he is 1. a bad player and 2. did bad in heroic brawl. Explain this. How can people actually watch something like that?!? Either he got 50k brothers and sisters or people are just braindead. Other streamers did way better and actually reached the 12 wins (multiple times) while he just does garbage. Not even kripp reaches these viewerships (only 20-30k).

Yet the difference between Kripp and Amaz is huge. Amaz is a fun guy to watch, he also interacts with the viewers (spin the wheel is a big one), where as Kripp usually has a high dose of salt. I rather watch Reynad than Kripp.

Amaz is about as fun to watch as to have a prostate exam, while the also doctor has in common with Amaz a childish attitude & shreaking voice.
People don't necessarily watch streamers for skill. They watch them for entertainment value. Amaz may not be the best player, but he is fun to watch. He plays his own deck with some weird card choices, which is interesting to watch. He memes a lot, which is funny. And he is also VERY LUCKY. Seriously her is VERY VERY LUCKY, so it's fun to watch someone that high rolls most of the time.
Also, he does a lot of fun stuff like punish beans, spin the wheele, and jeopareno.
10-3 playing renolock and 2 of the losses came against the same person who was clearly stream sniping. He probably could have gotten 12 wins if it wasn't for the sniper. I'm not a fan of Amaz but credit where credit is due he's a good player even though he can get stupidly lucky sometimes

Exactly.
I usually load up Twitch and see the decks each streamer is playing and watch the deck I find most interesting.
First time I sit and watch streams last night Amaz is arrogant but he played Renolock at heroic so thats why I watched him. Also I watched Kibler he has a good personality and fun the watch he is not really very good at heart stone but his stream was really entertaining. Next time I will watch Trump and Toast I don't know other streamers tho I only know famous ones but I don't care if streamer is good or bad at heartstone I just watch it for entertainment.
Not sure how this turned into a "who's your favorite streamer" thread but to the original point, Amaz said from the get go that he wanted to corporate sponsors also but he was trying this kickstarter campaign to see if he would be able to bypass sponsors for the time being or leverage the support from kickstarter to get an actual corporate sponsor that would pay the difference.
There's nothing wrong with him starting a kickstarter campaign. If you didn't want to donate then don't. I think most people didn't see the need to put up big dollars just to see their favorite streamers play each other in a team based format.
Also he is still planning on having ATLC2 but as of now he has no corporate sponsors so he is just saying he's going that route instead of crowdfunding the tournament.
sounds like trying to make a scandal out of someoone disliked. Whether you dislike him orhis content really doesn't matter here. I have a hard time wtaching a lot of streamers personally, but that's a personal matter and not something to start a campaign over. As to the issue at hand,
So the idea here though is that Amaz couldn't find a asponsor so he started a kickstarted campaign, but he canceled it midway through and is trying to run the tournament without it. And the claim is that he started the campaign just to pocket th emoney.. even though he decided to cancel it on his own which basically ruins the chance to get the money. If he wanted the money though, wouldn't he do what many MANY others do and actually keep the kickstarter going so he could actually GET the money? Canceling it when he felt he could run the tournament without the money doesn't exactly part of the "make people give me money HA HA HA" plan.
ATLC was a very successful tournament and there's a lot of demand for a second run. However, Amaz is having a lot of problem getting it funded . Also, if I heard it right, the last one wasn't profitable, which means runnning it again isn't going to pay for itself. Thus it sounds like a person who wants to run something but is having a hrad time getting the money for it. He wants it handled corporate, but can't get a buyer, tried crowdfunding but hates the concept so he pulled out and is looking for other options (or found another option).
So.. um.. where's the 'scam'?
I'll be blunt, this entire planet really REALLY needs to put down their tin foil hats. There's way too much "these people are out ot get us/everything is doomed!" mentality around, in HS, in gaming, and in life in general.
Instead of jumping the gun at anything, ANYTHING that isn't 100% pure and clean then crafting some insane plot in our head of how this means FOWL PLAY how bout we actually look for actual evidence of the actual plot going on, something a detective would actually appreciate, before attempting to rouse the mob for another round of rioting.

Did u mean Scamaz?
My custom cards thread here (53 cards)
Do you have any proof? Seems shady but just words ATM.
If you don't want to contribute to any kickstarter, then don't.
If you don't want to watch Amaz's streams, then don't.
That is all.

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.
Where is the money, Amaz?
