I felt sorry for this Pogo-Hopper Rogue I faced yesterday, who had a couple of misplays that'd make me tear my hair out.
The first instance was when he played Vanish on a board full of Pogo-Hoppers; the next turn saw his Sonya Shadowdancer getting burned due to his full hand.
The other instance was when he was already in fatigue (not sure how he ended up fatiguing himself faster than me, considering how many minions he shuffled in his deck). At 5 health, he played a 30-attack Pogo-Hopper and magnetized it with Zilliax. Instant full health, right? Except he smashed that gigantic minion onto an Annoy-o-Tron, so he wasn't able to lifesteal anything due to the divine shields canceling each other out. Poor dude died to fatigue the next turn.
Oh man it just feels so good when you play against a very lopsided matchup, they BM when they complete their win condition and spam well played and you still win. Was up against this quest rogue in casual trying to complete my priest quest, Who overextended twice into my psychic scream and I could just burst them down with Alex 3x mindblast and holy fire. Ofcourse I did the right thing, thanked them and said well played.
The last one was a Quest Rogue. Mind Control Tech saved my ass again, stealing Sonya Shadowdancer which allowed me to just exhaust his resources with all my removal. No infinite boars for you, sorry!
Playing brawl with 2 biology project, 2 wild growths, 2 nourishes and a ui. Faced a mage who had 2 counterspells, archmage, vex crow and a mana bind. dumped out a burgly bully around t5 and pushed face. He cleared my board and dumped out archmage, while at 5 health. Over the next 2 turns he cleared my board multiple times, summoned a taunt and set up lethal. I had a coin in hand. drew a portal, played it and got Faceless manipulator. Faceless his archamge, coin fireball face for lethal. EZ game. :)
Playing Odd Warrior mirror. Going into fatigue at the same time and he has more armor. I open the Un'Goro Pack. I get Stampede and a Golakka Crawler, no more beasts. I play them and I get a Hadronox. I manage to kill Hadronox off, he gets me 3x Direhorn Hatchling. Easy win :P
Just beat astandard heal zoolock on wild with a homebrew secret Hunter. He even got Keleseth turn 2. Then he added me afterwards to give me abuse in Russian. Ahaha.

Soooo good.
Gotta say that top decking a flare against a mage in wild is always a feelsgoodman time. Sorry bro but your Ice Block has melted. That was the highlight of my HS evening, that and the easy rank 14 (I started wild one week ago)
The combo is to get Zola, Sonya, and the 1/1 Poisonous Rush in hand. It's really hard for your opponents to ever get a board again if they don't have multiple removals.
The game was pretty long and I felt like I was losing from the start. - He dominated the board most of the game - He won the armor game
Midway through the game I felt like conceding because I felt like he piloted the deck better than me. And he was a bit lucky with his Dr. Boom heropower as he kept getting the 'discover a mech' while I only got it a few times - which was a bit annoying in a value matchup.
However, I had a plan and that was to save both my silences for his direhorn hatchlings and not play Shield block. He played one shield block and used his silences on irrelevant things, so I was a head in the fatique game. Though he went into fatique with 75 health and I had 35-ish health (because he kept getting mechs). However, I managed to use my resources quite well and in the end I outvalued him deep deep in fatique.
It just felt nice to win a +30 min game where I felt like giving up after 10 minutes because it felt like I couldn't win.
(Question: I have played quite a lot of Odd warrior but somehow this was my first mirror match. Does this matchup mostly come down to who gets the better pack from elize?)
Playing Burgle Rogue in Wild a lot made me realise, that Casual is actually fine. It's fun even. You see an unforable match up, play your cards see what you get and maybe there's a surprise win condition out there. If not, well, there's always bottom right and the next match.
Is there a better feeling than spanking those healocks and odd rogues trying to abuse wild with their top tier standard deck?
Man I love my Mech Hunter so much :p

Won 5 tavern brawls from 5 with a homebrew Warlock. One of the seven cards i chose hasnt even been used. Feels good man.
I swear, I really do believe you can manipulate random damage cards if you just hold the card over your target. I'm too fucking good at this.
Come visit my Card Emporium. Strange things, you will find inside...
Come take the test, if you're daring. Feel free to show me your results in a message.

Faced three straight matches that Odd Warrior struggles (or auto-loses) against, and won all of them. God, it feels great.
The first two were Deathrattle Hunters, and it feels great to outlast Deathstalker Rexxar (with a little help from Mind Control Tech, who stole a 15/11 Scavenging Hyena for me).
The last one was a Quest Rogue. Mind Control Tech saved my ass again, stealing Sonya Shadowdancer which allowed me to just exhaust his resources with all my removal. No infinite boars for you, sorry!

Odd warrior vs Odd warrior

Elise, Hatchlings, Owls, Zola, hero powers... One of my mirror games lasted 1h and 20m.

A druid ramped into turn 7 master broke heart, into nothing and conceded! Laughing so hard rn xDD

Gorge you hatred, embrace your rage.
Evidence of a no-brain netdecker right there. If he knew what was in his deck then he would have played something else, surely..
