Before i hit, again, the report button on this guy,can someone explain me what did he mean with the word "shrute"?Thank you.
SchruteBucks was a user that used to be on this thread NONE STOP. Like, he would post here over and over and over again every single day, it felt like every single time he lost a game for any reason he’d come to the salt thread and complain about how unlucky he was. One day, he got tired of everyone joking about how he’s always salty and how people would come to the thread just to see him bitch, so he left the salt thread and never returned.
he didn't go away! He is also known as Kaladin these days. Trust me I'm a Schrutestorian
Thats a good morning. Went for the quest with priest in casual and found a voidlord netdeck warlock, russian name, emoting every turn. Why people have to be that pathethic
Well to be fair, you were running pries. No one has any respect for people playing this class.
I troll every priest with emotes until they squelch me.
i was using priest homebrew for the quest.i never netdeck. Before shoot think next time. Just to clarify.i removed the win 5 matches with priest quest and play 50 priest cards quest spawned.

Sad there is no Kobold Illusionist decks with a high enough win rate to be worth playing. Sure Dane's version is fun but all these tryhard decks kinda ruin the fun of wanting to both meme and win.
i dont mind losing every now and then to better plays. im just fucking sick of EVERYONE drawing the absolute goddamned nuts on every turn, and i dont ever get to draw the cards my deck is built around.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
Died three times last 4 games on turn 4 to Smorc Paladin, even while playing arcanologist and tar creeper turn 2 and 3. Sweet.
Edit* now died by turn 6 in last 2 games against Secret Mage.
Blizzard actually sucks at game balance. BUT HEY, they're good at cool graphics and interesting gameplay.... once you get past stupid, skillless, no balance decks!
Now i am going to be a nice person as much as i can, but i feel like hearthstone might have hit the shit a bit.
Yes the meta is not as bad as some in the past, however it feels like a horrible aggroish mess atm.
I played around 8-10 games today and run across two control decks. EVERYONE OF THESE DECKS WERE RUNNING Corridor Creeper.
I started to play a bit of gwent and compared to this game is feels just amazing, regardless i am not very good at it, i still was able to climb the ranks, instead of this game where i got to play the most horrible boring decks and pray to every rng aspect i get lucky.
Still love hearthstone, but i feel like its just painful to play.
dungeons runs are cool though, wish the game was that fun all the time.
Honestly, that's the thing; where does Hearthstone even go from here?
The game is introducing power-creep after power-creep, and while the rotation is a good idea in theory, Blizzard's shitty execution is creating this weird dynamic of isolated power creep.
Aka.. a handful of cards are just on a whole god tier above everything else and enable entire decks to form around them and FORCE the entire meta to play around them.
Ie.. Ultimate Infestation, Call to Arms, several of the DKs, Voidlord, Corridor Creeper.
To compete fairly with Tier 1 decks, you have to play one of those cards. None of those cards are rotating out for over a year and we KNOW that Blizzard is VERY unlikely to nerf or adjust them. INSTEAD, they will power-creep the next expansion and we'll get 2 or 3 busted AF cards there.
PLUS, the issue of the Classic set which clearly favors certain classes and generally needs an overhaul if they're going to keep using it forever. Because now they are introducing BAD cards to classes with GOOD classic sets in an attempt to compensate; which is fun for literally no one.
The problem with this game is pretty clear to me;
A) Power-creep every expansion.
B) Making too many classes good at too many things; class identity is a joke these days.
C) Blizzard's stonecold unwillingness to make regular balance adjustments. There are 10 adjustments you could make, today, to Smorc Paladin to bring it down slightly in power level. Just pick ONE. Make knife juggler or wolf 1 health. Make call to arms 5 mana. Make the 1/1 taunt/divine shield 2 mana. Divine Favor "draw up to 3 cards."
Velen could be changed to "double the healing from all spells and effects." Anduin could be "hero power can only target minions."
If Blizzard just made one, tiny change quickly to the clearly top tier, oppressive decks and then made another tiny change a couple of weeks later if needed; how quickly and interesting the meta could improve.
But they refuse. They claim it interferes with tournaments or whatever, but tournament players get FORCED to bring Smorc Paladin instead. How is that better?
But Blizzard doesn't care because they're getting HUGE amounts of money for NOT balancing or maintaining Hearthstone. People ALWAYS buy the outrageously expensive packs and Blizz is rolling in it. Why cut into profits by having a team actually monitor and adjust the ladder?
edit: four times in a row. how is this fucking possible????????
edit: i was playing big priest and got shadow essence into barnes 4 times in a row. then, tired of that bullshit i switched to dane's big illusionist in wild. as it to fuck with me even further, i played sneed's and it summoned barnes.
petition to rename animal companion "Huffer - 3 mana 4/2 charge beast."

The meta is getting worse by each expansion...
I like elementals and totems.
Just to clarify.i removed the win 5 matches with priest quest and play 50 priest cards quest spawned.

Paying mana to play minions
Should've known better
Piloted Shredder, Knife Juggler, Mad Scientist, Dr. Boom
Need to be removed from this game

some decks are OP as fuck and get to draw the nuts on every turn despite playing horribly
and some decks are fair and lose despite playing every turn perfeclty
