The next expansion drops in just a few weeks. Have you guys heard any rumours or have any expactations of what's coming to Hearthstone next month?
For me, Showdown in the badlands have a cool thematic, beautiful signatures and a lot of cards that are really fun. The excavate and quickdraw mechanics passed the test. I think the game overall is heading into the right direction.

I don't mean to be disrespectful, but in what universe has Quickdraw "passed the test"?
What was the test? How did it pass it? And where can I get whatever mind-altering substance or experience makes me come up with such a verdict?

haha, I am not offended.
By passing the test I meant that quickdraw as a new mechanic is fun, balanced and brings freshness to the game.
I heard some speculation that the next set will be a time travel themed expansion set in all the past areas of HS's history. Imagine each class's set being themed around an old expansion, allowing us to see what they'd look like in 2024, or seeing what a Goblins vs. Gnomes set would look like for Death Knight or Demon Hunter.
The next expansion will be at the start of a new year in Hearthstone. Historically that happens in April. So we are about 2 months away from the next expansion, not a few weeks.

Dust does not burn a hole in the jar. Be careful what you craft, especially before and right after a rotation.

I think the current battle pass is available for purchase through March 11, meaning March 12 could be a very likely launch date this time. March 11, 2014 also happens to be Hearthstone’s launch date too. So being the 10th anniversary it’s likely they want to begin celebrating that fact right around the 11th, or rather 12th.

I see you aren't good at connecting the dots. Historically every 3rd expansion of the year used to drop in December and not in November like the last time.

It looks like you need a history lesson.
The League of Explorers was released in November 12th 2015. The Start of the new year with the release of "Whispers of the Old Gods" was on April 26, 2016.
Madness at the Darkmoon Faire was released on November 17th, 2020. The start of the new year with the release of "Forged in the Barrens" was on March 30th, 2021. While not in April, using it as an example still means about a month and three weeks.
So Historically we still have at least 7 weeks to go. Not the "in a few weeks" idiocy. You have a join date that suggests you should know what happened with the start of the new year in years past. Your posts are either willfully ignorant of the facts, or you just like posting nonsense.

If you read my earlier post about the battle pass only being for sale through March 11, and how March 11 will be the 10th anniversary of Hearthstone’s launch, you’d know we are about 5 weeks out (plus a few days). The expansion isn’t likely to “drop” as in come out in the OP’s timeline, but the announcement of it is almost certainly coming very soon. I’d venture to say Tues, Feb 13.
Now, instead of splitting hairs and manufacturing meaningless conflict with each other, maybe we could have some real discussion and speculation in this speculation thread?

Since your cognitive skills are clearly lacking, here I prepared especially for you a list of all expansion released in December:
2014 - GvG
2016 - MSOG 2017 - K&C
2018 - RR
2019 - DoD
2021 - FiAV
2022- MotLK
You just wanted to not look silly so you mentioned ONLY 2 expansions that were released before December but it's too late. Everyone now sees how deluded and insecure you are. Oh, and you intentionally didnt even mention the tavern pass expire date. Speaking of ignorance and idiocy.

Part of the facts is, as it was pointed out several times already, entirely ignored by you thus far, that the season pass for Showdown in the Badlands ends on 11 March, making it rather likely that the next expansion drops on 12 March (which happens to be a Tuesday).
At least from what I can remember, there has been no instance where the date of a season pass ending has not coincided with the arrival of a new expansion thus far.
Historical observations are rather meaningless in this, since Blizzard can choose launch dates as it sees fit (as your "history lesson" actually demonstrates). They are not obligated to wait till April, or otherwise particularly inclined to do so. Keeping with "tradition" is not the strongest of incentives, as they have demonstrated multiple times on various issues, far too many that i could even bother to list them.
Not exactly a position from which I would accuse others of ignoring facts and posting nonsense, but you do you. If you are so hell-bent on correcting others, maybe question whether 5 weeks can reasonably be called "a few" instead.

What???
i dont know, maybe buffing priest and mages. Nerfing paladins , druids and warloks.
i dont care what new cards. I just want a game where all classes are balanced and playable.
Theme, no idea. However, I am expecting a bigger year long narrative given that it’s Hearthstone’s 10th birthday come March 11.

that would require resource investment in a game mode that isnt battlegrounds or constructed. Based on trends, that wont happen.
You might get a streamer event with 2 packs for watching 64 hours during the day though.
slowing down the expansion releases as well as overpowered cards would be a nice
And miss out on millions in sales?

Maybe a return to classic type cards, like re mastering of original cards :) just more powerful obv
I didn’t necessarily mean big solo adventures, but just three expansions with overlapping themes and narratives.

Maybe the 12th class is coming to make the number of classes even... A game with 11 classes always sounds odd..
