I agree with the quest being very easy to accomplish, it's probably one of the easiest questlines to complete. I haven't played Standard in a bit but Quest Hunters usually never beat me if I gain enough armor, the deck only has so much firepower. Reno decks aren't too strong in Standard, but I'd experiment with him if Quest Hunter gets on your nerves too much.
Although it's harder to play Cariel now, her and enough healing could counter him too. Or just full-on swarm the board, they'll have to spend most of their spells and mana on your minions (well excluding Dragonbane Shot)
Quest hunter is nowhere near broken in standard, it's not even tier 3 in high legend, and barely tier 3 in lower ranks...
Not sure what you're on about, but it's currently sitting in tier 1 in diamond-legend with a 53% winrate. It drops off in Legend to tier 2, with a 51%, still very good. It's a good deck, nobody expected it to reappear, but 40 health might give it the wiggle room it needs to get going in the late game, and very few decks can stop it in the late game. As for OP, if you play Quest Warlock only, you are about to have a bad time because Quest Hunter is your direct counter. You will be winning about 15% of your games.
QH does have some terrible matchups though: any druid, any paladin, mech mage, mine rogue and boar priest, although the latter is very hard to pilot.
I've said so since the questline was revealed. A single point of spell damage for only 2 different spells casted in each tier? Ludicrous! With how much burn hunter has at its disposal, each tier should be 3 spells at least...if not 4. Someone really wanted hunter to be tier S during that expansion.
Pirate's quest got nerfed MULTIPLE (Finally, but should've happened sooner...) times, but they can't even touch raza hunter's? Also ludicrous!

It went up a bit since my comment yes, but still it's nowhere near 'broken' which was the point. It still hard loses to the 4 decks that are currently the 'power 4': control shammy, murloc shammy, big spell mage and celestial druid. I believe it also has unfavourable matchups against two other popular decks: thief rogue and prestor druid.
which didn't do much to quell it in wild. still just oppressive crap to kill ya by turn 7. I've healed over 100 health against them and still died by turn 9. I don't care who ya are or what class you like, that's some BS.
also yesterday i was against this tavish quest hunter and i see interaction like school teacher 1/1 with battlecry arcane shot completes one step ? i ask why ? if quest say deal damage with spells and its a battlecry minion
Hit legend with Renethal Quest Hunter. It's very strong vs everything besides Druid and Quest priest imo, it's winnable but from experience you don't kill get burn fast enough to kill them and you need to find tavish before completing the second task so you get 0 mana tavish hp.
It's not super refined atm, I used a conch version without howl.
You're probably playing the mu wrong imo. They have no healing besides tavish so you should be prioritising face. If you're a control deck. Just don't play minions and draw. They have like 6-8 face spells in the deck and the rest needs a minion or is just draw.
Try playing the deck for youself a little bit, you will quickly and easily see what destroys your deck, unless you expect to have a 100% winrate, in which case I would also suggest to play the deck and get easy rank 1 legend.
Tribal decks like Mech Mage or Mech Pala fill the board so quickly with many divine shield minions that Quest Hunter can't keep up in my experience. Also note that divine shields prevent quest progress for the Hunter. Quest Hunter is anything but broken, it is very beatable.

I kinda noticed that too and it's so infuriatingly unfair, given how the same does not apply to the shaman's quest, for example.
I don’t know if I’m the only one but Quest Hunter is completely broken in my opinion.
It doesn’t matter what I’m playing, I loose…
The quest is way too easy to accomplish and the fact that it counts towards the progress when I deal damage with a curse for example is a joke!
Sorry for grammar or spelling mistakes, English is not my first language

You curse Warlocks get everything you deserve. No sympathy here for that boring annoying deck.
What format do you play on? WIld or Standard?

You're acting like they're Shudderwock Shamans or Time Warp Mages

They did nerf quest hunter... Both in standard and in Wild by increasing the costs of Rapid Fire and Dragonbane Shot

Only free on the weekends :(

Quick ass tutorial
1) Just go Kazakusan Highlander Paly with 40 starting Health, Reno, Ragnaros Lightlord and the Heal Dragon
2) Huntard Tears = Profit

QUests are the worst happening to HS. Thanks for that Cora. Fuck off with your broadcasting degree.
