I understand before everyone starts screaming "Wild is mean't to be wild" at me, but I feel like the gamemode has really become worse and worse over the years.
I really enjoyed wild as it allowed me to play with most of the cards and decks I used to, but in the last year Wild has taken a deep into a pit and seems to only be getting worse and worse.
Wild has been ignored almost with no balance patches, cards breaking the format every other expansion and the same decks just taking over the format for years.
Anyone else feels like having more attention bought to wild with problematic cards and future cards would be a good idea?
Just as alot of players are frustrated that the gamemode keeps breaking every time new cards are added!
EDIT: Not calling wild bad, broken or unbalance. More highlighting how so many new cards seem to make game breaking and ASAP Nerfs to the game mode which seems like it is ignored compared to the other gamemodes.
No I don't, because Wild is fine and the people whining about it are NOT the dedicated Wild players.
Wild has been ignored almost with no balance patches, cards breaking the format every other expansion
This is not true and I wonder why you need to lie about it. When a combo deck breaks the format because it's too fast and consistent, they IMMEDIATELY (within days) nerf it.
So if they don't nerf something, you can always assume it is NOT breaking Wild format and to problem comes from your ability to build or play a deck.
Remember a few weeks ago when everyone was bitching about APM mage being the worst and most broken and oppressive deck ever created ? Where are these people now ? I guess they found a new deck to hate.

Not lies FACTS! Darkglare and tiller both broke the format and got nerfed! So before you call me a liar, know that blizzard only nerfs broken cards for wild if they are actually breaking the format.
So saying I am lying when I say a card from an expansion breaks for format is not true. The gamemode may be fine, but I still think my point is valid. Blizzard rarely checks the card for it is use in wild, that is a fact. As having to nerf a card like 2 days in as wild is in a mess shows that the game mode is not carefully watched like standard.
Maybe the format feels ignored, but IMO the wild meta is so much better than the standard one. Almost every class has at least 2 viable archetypes. Hunter is in a rough spot, but the other classes are kinda balanced. And when a card really breaks the format, the devs nerf it like they did with Bloodbloom or Naga sea witch.
However there is a change I would like to see. Since we have now standard packs and wild packs, it would be nice to choose a preferred one, and you would get that pack as a reward for duels/arena/tavern brawl.

You said "almost no balance patch" as if they don't care about wild balance, but when wild balance is broken they make a balance patch immediately. So how is it "getting worse" exactly ? Why would they nerf cards for any other reason than breaking the format ?
Doesn't really matter if you're a liar, a troll, or an ignorant, the point is, in my opinion, you're wrong about your Wild analysis, it's not getting worse, in fact, it's getting better, they are more reactive than they used to when it comes to fixing truly broken cards.
Blizzard rarely checks the card for it is use in wild, that is a fact. As having to nerf a card like 2 days in as wild is in a mess shows that the game mode is not carefully watched like standard.
They design cards for Standard, they said this many times. But they also very much care about Wild balance and try to avoid any combination that could potentially break the game. Sometimes they fail yes, and they fix it.
But consider the amount of cards and synergies in Wild. They do a very good job at keeping Wild playable despite the incredible amount of synergy and critical mass and diverse strategies.

Your opinion is fine, calling me a liar is not fine. Blizzard does like 2 balances patches a year for wild, when only cards are dominating the meta!
The point is, why introduce a card you know is going to break wild? Like Tiller and Hysteria was pointed out like a week before it was put into the game and still broke wild for 4 days until they had to change a new card. Which is the point I am making. It is "getting worse" as every expansion a card or two will break the meta and force ASAP Nerfs which should not the case.
I never said wild was broken or crap, I am saying it could be better and has been going down in my opinion for the last year in new cards balance.
Your opinion is fine, calling me a liar is not fine
Ok then, I apologize for the name calling, I stand by everything else I said.
It is "getting worse" as every expansion a card or two will break the meta and force ASAP Nerfs which should not the case.
Every expansion there's more cards in the Wild pool, it gets harder and harder to think about every possible detail. This is also why they can't balance Wild like they Balance standard and only focus on extremely broken combos.
Do I really have to explain power creep to you ? Powercreep isn't just printing stronger cards. Every expansion is power creeping Wild. Even the super weak Rastakhan expansion is powercreeping Wild. Again, consider the total number of cards, and the number of broken cards they had to fix. They do an incredible job at keeping Wild playable.
People have to finally realize one thing - wild was created only for one purpose... to distract players from the truth. When the rotation system was first introduced in HS, they couldn't just say: OK people, the cards you collected over the years, which you spent hundreds of dollars on, and which were meant to be yours forever, will soon be gone for good. Can you imagine the outrage after that? In addition, they would have to guarantee a full dust refund, which would be a huge waste of money for them. That's why a separate mode was added to the game, to give people the (false) feeling that they still own their collection... even though it actually isn't that useful anymore, stored in a dusty box somewhere in the garage.
They said many times already, that some cards couldn't be printed, because other cards were in play and their coexistence would be toxic for the game. And now, suddenly, all these cards coexist in the wild... You can try control it to some extent, but in the long run, some mechanics just work together too well and they always be broken. Sometimes the only solution is to nerf the card to the point where it becomes useless, but is that fair to those who own those cards and enjoy them?
The wild cannot be balanced and it will never happen.

I completely understand that, but I don't know what that has to do about printing cards which have huge implications for the format.
Like forged in the barrens did not break wild, but this miniset again set the balance really off.
The point I am making is why can't blizzard introduce new cards, not change old ones, but keep the new ones at a level where they do not destroy a format.

Because wild is not even considered when designing new cards, it's a side effect, a burden that exists simply by necessity. Their only interest is in the standard.

Couldn't agree more. Rotation was the biggest scam that Blizz got away with, cause there are tons of Blizz fan boys who blindly defend Blizz like they own it.
Care to elaborate what you actually want to complain about? I'm not even sure if you want to say that the format changes too much with new cards or too little with existing decks staying on top.
And as it was pointed out already, Wild does get balance patches, but only when it's actually necessary, and not for the sake of it like in Standard. Developers even explained before, that a lot of designs are scrapped during development because they would cause trouble in Wild. If they really didn't care, I'm sure we'd see even crazier things than Naga Giants or infinite 0 mana Snip-Snaps (which were both nerfed).
Either way, I don't really see a need to "fix" Wild right now either, since it is mostly fine. Maybe Paladin gets nerfed further, but it will probably be because of Standard, if Conviction and/or Samuro are deemed too strong. Few things in Wild are really "broken", and those oftentimes require some spectacular highrolling. The top tier decks are, just like in Standard, simply harder to beat.
My only real issue with Wild is that I've grown sick of Reno decks, particularly Priest. But I have to accept that some people will, for all eternity, force Reno and Zephrys in every conceivable combination of 30 cards in any of the 10 classes. And I will always hate Priest until the day comes when Priests finally plays a deck that aren't 75% (discovered) removal, so probably forever. But it's not like Priest is unbeatable, either.
At this point, I wouldn't even ask for a nerf if I could, only less support for archetypes that are over 3 years old.

First of all not complaining. Don't know why if anyone has a point about anything in this forum they are almost always labeled as a salty complainer.
I am making the point that wild is ignored with new cards coming in and leads to shorts metas where the game mode is warped into one or two crazy hyper broken decks which leads to emergency nerfs which does not feel healthy.
Never once in my posts did I complain about old cards needing nerfs right now.
No I don't, because Wild is fine and the people whining about it are NOT the dedicated Wild players.
Gatekeeping at its finest

These wild decks do hinder your ability to play a deck, if you try to play literally any old deck (which was their stated goal for wild and reason for being hesitant to nerf) you will have a winrate indistinguishable from 0% against the insane wild combo decks. While it's true they nerfed the tiller combo, another early game combo deck of apm mage took its place. While it think the flamewaker apm mage is kinda cool for a combo deck in that you can in theory tank it with minions, it's still way too fast. Disruption isn't even a tech option anymore for control decks, it's a requirement, because otherwise you just lose.
Yes people found a new deck to hate because they KEEP BREAKING THE FORMAT, each time they just one up themselves. You can't even get to turn 10. Even disruption cards that cost more than 4 are useless against the broken combo decks. They need to fix ALL the broken combo decks if they want a balanced format.
I understand before everyone starts screaming "Wild is mean't to be wild" at me, but I feel like the gamemode has really become worse and worse over the years.

Wild is fun if you play meta decks on tier list, all the other decks get wrecked by these. Tried doing casual/fun play but doesn't work since everyone wants to do a meta deck
No, you are welcome to come play wild at any time.
if you try to play literally any old deck (which was their stated goal for wild and reason for being hesitant to nerf) you will have a winrate indistinguishable from 0% against the insane wild combo decks.
Old decks evolve with new cards, that's just the natural flow of card games, if you bought that crap that you could still compete with a Naxx/GvG deck 5 years later it's on you, sorry. It just doesn't make any sense, new cards create new opportunities. Your interpretation of what an "old deck" is is clearly flawed in my opinion.
You can still play old decks and strategies like Freeze mage or Miracle rogue or Control warrior, you just have to accept that you need some of the new cards in there and can't simply rely on old sets.
The only way to keep playing old decks with 30 old cards is if they don't ever print new cards. You can play classic mode for that.

No way. Warlock and mage need to take top nerf priorities.
Sorc apprentice needs to be nerfed to be spells can't cost less than 1.
Flamewaker only targets minions.
Incanters flow to 5 mana.
Spring Water to 6 mana and only refresh 1 mana crystal each spell.
Stealer of Souls to 8 or 10 mana.
Mal Ganas changed to only friendly minions are buffed, no more hero immunity.
Fix those toxic cards first then we'll talk about the others.
