Standard is currently unplayable but they sold preorders of bundles. If this were a real game, people would be asking for refunds and accusing it of being early access

How dramatic hahaha. So many drama queens about, hilarious.
If it isn't a real game, what is it haha? Is this all fake and we're actually part of a matrix simulation?! Maybe that's evil Blizzard's actual plan, maybe you've caught them out with their diabolical scheme!
Save us, Ravzarr, destroy the matrix and make the world OK again!
Whenever they are coming, they are already far too late. The start of FitB is very much ruined for anyone not willing to just netdeck the strongest decks.
Well this simply isn't true. Its also pretty naive. At any one time, a large amount of people are playing the top few strongest decks.
Will be the same in magic and other card games. The META (most effective tactic available) exists in pretty much every game. Fighting games have characters that are stronger, sports games have players/attributes that are just better, card games have decklists, mobas have characters and builds.
Etc, etc, etc, etc. This is nothing new, stop pretending that it is. I've never played a competitive game where there wasn't a type of play, tactic or build that rises to the top and is popular across the player base.
This community says the same thing abiut every top deck, every expansion, every meta, year after year.
Please tell me why I should care? The game has been 'dying' since I started playing. The devs get every expansion wrong, the power levels are wrong, they are incompetent. I've enjoyed my time with this game though and continue to do so.
I dont think mages are that overpowered, even when they play Lunacy on T2. Take for instance the match I just played.
Turn 4 all the mage was able to do was:
3 cost Skull of Gudan > 0 cost sprint > 0 cost Auspicious Spirits (which spawned him the 5/2 scorpid > 0 cost Metamorphosis > 1 mana to deal 4 damage to kill my only minion.
Not end of the world... unfortunately i was unable to kill the scorpid so i played a 3 cost taunt.
His turn 5 was not TOO impressive either:
3 cost Nourish (to ramp to 7 mana) > 1 cost Blessing of Kings to make his scorpid 9/6 > 1 cost hero power to kill my taunt > 1 cost fireball to my face > attack with scorpid (im still at about 15 hp here)
I decided to play my nice big turn 6 taunt so now i have a nice beefy 4/5 on the board ( i got him down to 25hp by this time so Im feeling OK)
Hes only got like 8-9 cards in his hand at turn 6 so what can go wrong?
3 cost runic carvings to summon 4 2/2's > 1 cost Invigorating Sermon to make the trees 3/3's and the good old scorpid 10/7 >>> ???
I'm not sure what he did with the 5 mana he had left as at this point i conceded to go eat breakfast.
I figure the chances of him having another 1 cost fireball or 2 cost apexis to finish me off were only about 80%.. so I probably could have made it to turn 7. Thats about 2 turns longer than I last against a paladin so I feel mages might need a slight buff.
I’m only playing casual these days and insta concede when I face a copy paster.
ranked is a joke with either rogue mage or paladin and the odd warlock thinking they win because they are way too freaking good
Do they? You've literally just made that up and convinced yourself that is the reason they do it. Probably because it makes it easier to be mad about them, make 'them' an unlikeable person, easy to hate etc.
I play mage. I don't think "I'm way too freaking good" every time I win, at all.
You've listed almost a third of the classes in the game and basically just generalised everybody playing them.
It's just ignorant man, I know you're mad but what you're doing doesn't help you,m or anyone else. It's just childish. Like when my 11 year old kicks off about people on fortnite, he sounds very much like this. But he is 11, I expect an inability to rationally assess things from him but I'm guessing you're at least a few years older than that....
What hugely original deck are you using mate? Post it here, let us all marvel at your super big brain deck. I guarantee there a ton of very similar, even identical sorts of decks around. But you, you're not a' copy paster', are you? Far too clever for that.
Duh, avoiding Wild is a conscious choice for sane people that prefer a healthy and somewhat balanced Meta. Rather than an absolute unplayable clownfiesta of a game mode.

Yeah, enjoying your cards for only a predefined amount of time before being forced to spend more money and dust is a sane choice.

Not spending 5000 $ on a Game, that earns you NOTHING in return, and is just a mere time filler of your AMAZING life now THAT is a sane Choice my friend. : (
Oh boy, do I always laugh in pity at those "cool" Wild players like you trying to get into an argument and defending what they are doing is the right thing whilst I do know you've spent 5000+ on HS already making it the center piece of your life, while so many smarter people get by, by not spending anything, and simply avoiding the never balanced cancer show which is Wild.
Disenchanting rotating cards is an absolute necessity if you want to play Hearthstone whilst spending an absolute minimum. Duh, I thought that is self-explanatory, There are no two choices anyways, Budget players can ONLY play Standart. (or Classic mode)
Hearthstone is a game for the rich. If you don't like it, get a better job, or just retire like me at 43. Money is only paper to me. Parchments of Value. The complaining here is unreal. Just play and enjoy. If you can't enjoy it, stop acting like a whiny child. Go play Candyland.
So many people missing the whole point of the thread.
I'm not whining because I'm losing to lunacy mage (I already stated my w/l ratio), I'm whining because I'm unhappy with how the meta is in its current form because of lunacy mage. There's a difference. See my other post earlier in the thread where I break down my last 100 matches. Over 80% of my matches against two different classes is shocking.
I know the nerfs are coming, I'm happy about that. I'm not happy that its taking so long and I know they are delaying because of GMs but it still doesn't change the fact that its annoying and we have to endure this for another weekend.

Yeah, take your poor shaming elsewhere because quite frankly no one gives a f*ck. Flexxing online doesn't make you look cool or interesting, it just makes you look like an obnoxious asshole!

Right, so you know they are coming and you've even said you know why they are pushed back.
So why do you feel compelled to make a complete drama queen thread asking when they will be, accompanied by a ton of?!?!?? This surely could have just gone in the salt thread?
What are you actually wanting to gain? It's clearly not information on the timing of the nerfs. Was it just attention? Validation?
Poor shaming is very much the same as those trying to shame people for spending money. Both are as bad as each other really but I find the free players particularly obnoxious, very often passive aggressive and trying to make people feel bad for having money they can spend on a hobby/past time and it's that judgement which make people reply in equally obnoxious ways. I have zero sympathy now for free players. They have been the most antagonistic, aggressive, entitled bunch in every game I've played for the last 8 or so years.
I actually think the model in itself is quite damaging and we have a generation of people growing up with this as the norm and it just pushes them into feeling like the world owes them something.
Not just in this game, any game that has free/paid models.

Clearly you didn't read the thread because I wasn't aware that the nerfs had been confirmed when I posted it (which I've already stated), the point of thread was to express my dissatisfaction with the current state of the meta and I wanted to know when the nerfs were coming and if you had read my posts you would already know that. As strange as it might sound to you, this is actually a public forum where people are free to express their opinions and experiences. I mean who would have thought you would find someone expressing an opinion about hearthstone on a hearthstone forum? Crazy world we live in huh!
I don't really care if someone is F2P or they spend 1000s on this game, makes no difference to my life. I was calling him out for poor shaming and gloating about his wealth, which is always scummy regardless of the context.
Personally I think both sets of players can be just as bad as each other. I constantly see people complaining about poor pulls and then they go and blow another 100 on packs. Its the same as F2P players complaining about paying players having better cards. Stupid mentalities.
Anyways I don't want to turn this into a paid vs F2P debate because at the end of the day it makes no difference to me or you what other people do with their money.

Clearly you don’t understand wild players. I am a wild player, and no, I have not spent $5000 on the game. I haven’t spent money on cards since whispers of the old gods. The best part about wild is that you DONT HAVE TO SPEND MONEY. You figure out a few decks you like, and then when new expansions roll around, there might be a few new cards you want and you can easily get enough dust from gold to make them. Eventually, you can even build up enough extra dust to craft an entirely different deck and then maintain more than a couple decks. It’s really not difficult to get cards for wild, you just simply don’t disenchant cards that could ever be useful/fun to play.

These cards SHOULD get addressed:
Deck of Lunacy
Pen Flinger
Secret Passage
Jandice Barov
And I hope they go ahead, and confirm it today so we can get rid of these ridicolously toxic Swing turns.
