why go straight for the strongest deck and not for the most fun one?
that's the problem in this game. too many enemies of fun
I hear you and my idea of fun is probably similar to yours but there are people who find the fun in winning. I'm personally not too fussed about that but the fact is that plenty of other people are and it isn't unique to Hearthstone.
OP I think it's important to remember that these theory craft streams are not designed to solve the meta. There will be drastic changes upon launch of the expansion with not only standard rotation but the changes to classic etc. There will be plenty of decks and combinations that aren't even tried as part of the theory streams.
I would reserve any judgement on the meta until a good few weeks after the actual launch.
Frenzy/Tempo warrior, Aggro/weapon rogue, some form of midrange tempo rogue (watchpost?), and the UNCHANGED OTK DH will be tier 1.
Some form of Control Warlock, secret/tempo paladin, and one of the druid decks (beast/taunt or big druid) form tier 2
Mage will be powerful, but will gradually rise up the ranks and will start in tier 3 with decks like control priest, and deathrattle demon hunter.
Not sure where hunter and shaman stack up as it can fall anywhere from tier 2 all the way down to meme.
Agree with you on rogue, always T1, OTK demon hunter doesnt loose much as well, boring, but T1.
Midrange / tempo taunt druid will be T1 just because it counters rogues. Control warlock got even more tools to sustain health, also T1/High T2.
Libram Pala T1, they have so many good cards now, insane.
HP Mage, Beast hunter, Tempo warrior, dude / secret pala, Zoo warlock T2
Elemental shaman, Murloc Shaman, Some control priest, Deathrattle DH T3.
Sad that deathrattle DH gets the most broken card of the expansion, but no good deathrattle to support it. Now we have to play with boring trash OTK again...

Yeah, imagine people having fun by winning nonstop against other players. What a novel, hiterto unheard of concept.
And I say this as a player of almost exclusively tier 3 decks. People play OP decks because they have fun winning 20 out of 25 games rather than 7 out of 25 games and, shockingly enough, that's the case for most people. Stop assuming that your concept of fun has to be the same for everyone else, lift those slabs of cement in front of your eyes lad, you'll be much better off that way.

Yeah right - playing face hunter non stop for months in order to win no brainer games is your definition of fun then. Good for you
I guess it's no surprise that everyone will have a different idea of what is fun.
Otherwise there would only be one class and one set of cards and everyone would love it exclusively forever.
I think midrange weapon rogue seems fun, run two shanks and two swords, don't over buff one thing and lose to an ooze. Maybe it will require some thought to play it correctly? I'm sure people will try to play it super aggressively, but I'm not sure that's the right way to do it. I also don't think it will overrun the meta, but on paper it can look powerful.
Let's wait and see, eh?

Looking forward to trying a Secret Pally. It might suck tho
I didn’t watch any of the streams, but if the new meta ends up being mostly aggro rogue & control warlock then count me out.
I watched Tyler, and Celestial Alignment druid might be a deck I think.
My guess:

I think Token Spell Druid might be pretty good, the loss of savage roar is huge but other than that it does not loose that much.
The lifesteal dryads are gone but we get the exact same card with taunt instead of lifesteal. And Guff Runetotem looks promising in this Deck as well.
5 dead wifes though
