lol, I am playing battlegrounds right now, I was there to select a hero, I will check in 10 minutes when I lose to start another game. Blizzards understanding of unintended consequences is laughable.
Yes you can do that, and I dont see any problems with that method because it doesnt affect the other 7 players in the lobby in a negative way.
The real problem is the botting with roping in constructed because it makes the gameplay experience much worse for many players. Blizz should permaban those accounts ASAP.
I don't see it affecting them negatively, their game still goes, they just have one less player to push them out of top 4.
I kinda like this new path of rewards, its cool, modern and stylish. But! It IS complete bullshit that they removed rewards for winning games. What is that? Before this patch we got "passive" part of income via quests like play 10 big minions or play 3 smaman games for example AND we also got "active" part - win 3 games get 10 gold. And that was petty satisfying and right. Now they cut active part and it is so frustrating and dumb actually. After u got desired rank in ladder it is no point in winning aymore. It is MUCH more exiting to get even small reward for winning and it is natural. Why not cut rewards for winning in Arena also? Just kidding. Please get rewards for winning back! I'm really upset now.
Well, winning games gives more XP so there is a reward but it is sooo well-hidden.
Where can i see proof and exact numbers?
It looks to me that overall they cut gold you can earn by playing. Its faster at the beginning of the path but later its slower and slower. I used to get 1 pack a day simply by completing daily quest (60) plus 12 victories. So F2P mostly but buying small bundles time to time. Now its impossible, i mean way more time needed i guess.
Also i think completely cutting rewards for winning because of aggro players is bullshit explanation. I personally even can't feel aggro problem at all. Just let people play what they like. Some dont like aggro some dont like control priests etc. Cutting winning rewards is stupidity and/or desire for making more money by selling more packs and bundles.

Well proving the first should be pretty easy for you to do yourself. First, make sure you know how many XP you have. Then, queue into a game and concede after the mulligan. (If you quit before the mulligan, neither you nor your opponent get any XP, I think.) Check your XP, and it'll have gone up a very small amount (20 or so, if I recall correctly.) Then play a game all the way through, win or lose. Check your XP again, and it'll have gone up by a larger amount. If you win, you'll earn in excess of 100. (At least I do, but I play mostly control decks.) There aren't "exact numbers" because it appears that XP earned is dependent on the length of the game. But the basic point that you earn more for a win than a loss is absolutely clear.
As for the point about aggro, I disagree. The 10g/ 3 wins rule overly rewarded aggro decks, which was unfair to midrange, control, and combo players. Making the reward dependent on the length of the game is fairer to everyone. You shouldn't get to earn more just because you're playing a mindless face huntard deck.

It does affect the others in the match, tbf. You'll generally have one person up against KT multiple times, whilst others won't face him once, and that'll lead to free upgrade turns etc.. But this happened with people getting bad heroes anyway, though odds are you get a bad noe in my experience, so wouldn't be worth it :P Probably a major issue closer to 6k.
xps for playtime is such a stupid idea. Opponent concedes after 3 turns and i get 10xps for a win. Thanks Blizz, so generous.
As a counterargument, the notion that winning on turn 5 with some half-brained face hunter deck is somehow worth 3.3 gold is nuts. It takes you, what, 2 minutes to win that game? Yeah, that's fair.
If this change prevents the mad rush of aggro morons who always showed up on the server late at night, trying to hit their 100 gold daily max, I'm all for it.

I'm saying, if I play aggro I earn gold faster than if I play control. With the new system, you earn gold for playing the game, not for playing shorter matches.
I'd rather face aggro constantly than be roped 5 games in a row. If this is being encouraged, might as well just give xp for single player content because it's about as engaging.
By the way I don't know where to ask this question so I thought I might find an answer here... Can I refresh daily and weekly quests to get ones which give more exp? For example can I refresh 1750 quest and get 2500 one? If its too much out of topic feel free to delete my question.
2500 is only rerollable to 1750, as you get one and only one 2500 quest per week. 1750 is rerollable to other 1750 weekly quest.

I think that there are several issues with BG right now, so the fact that you (and I) get disconnected for afking in BG is probably just a bug. It's more annoying that players can win by doing nothing/disconnecting (?), which I have had like 3 times yesterday when I played heroes that I needed to do achievements with (always ended up 2nd place, thanks Blizzard).
Regarding single player content, you can get up to 120 exp per hour for not doing anything in solo adventures (unless they changed that since last week). Just start a game, stay there for 29 minutes (exp gain stops after 30 minutes), restart and do this again. 2exp/min is the solo adventure rate I calculated.
I am going to admit that I also go afk to farm exp but I only do it in BG because I think that deliberately roping in normal Hearthstone is impolite and I am not very patient myself. BG players probably don't care because their time isn't wasted. And the roughly 225 exp per hour you get for afk losing in BG is definitely enough for me since I work on my computer from home anyway, so I can farm quite a lot.
Agree nothing else to comment or say,but you need more time to get the amount of gold you get before the new system, used to get in 3h max all 30 wins, now to get 100 gold i need 8h about,a 1 h playtime win or lose doesnt matter is 400-500 xp per hour so 1500x2 for 100 gold goes to 6h-8h,but is more rewarding for new players,we cant farm them anymore on standard.Thats all,i like it or dont i dont care seems legit to me just more time.
Thats what I said. :)

Then don’t rope and play the right way and then people won’t concede to u

So, someone can tell me if now we are disconnect by afking in the game? This is happening to me in BG all games.
